[FGO] Aoko Immortal Team

I got this idea from a comment, she is pretty decent as a merlin replacement as she does have team passive NP charge and a spread charge on her S3 every 8 turns. You also tend to pick your supports' arts cards so you get to save up missiles for aoko's strong NP. This team is ofc a lot faster than the merlin version as well.

I love how she becomes kinda like an engine in this kind of team. Aoko + double Tamamo is also interesting. They all reduce the skill CD of each other, so it gets stupidly broken pretty fast.

@@gunnarschlichting9886 the game is not designed for CQ/Bosses, they are not repeatable and most times once or twice a month, history bosses have blue cubes to skip the challenge. while farming on JP you have AP for 6 normal nodes and 3 Ordeal Call nodes(3 normal during events) the solo/team content we have is way more than it should be right now. showing ways to farm with her makes more sense.

Having her as an engine is kinda fitting even in terms of lore. From what I understand, one application of the Fifth Magic is generating near-infinite mana, so having Aoko share it with her 50% team battery is perfect. And having her work in a team lets her power up her NP even further, so that's a bonus

She really is the epitome of "Jack of all trades, master of none", She can do multicore farming, she can solo, she can be in a crit team, and she certainly can stall. (Well, I'm not saying she is not good in anything she does but she really is not the best in anything she can do either.)

Yeah i definitely think the way to play Aoko is to have her attack as little as possible while still getting her NP every 3 to 5 turns or so. She gets so much value by existing and so little additional value by attacking that it just makes sense. Her magic bullet mechanic is basically a big "please for the love of damage do NOT loop the np" sign lmao. I also think that's where most of the disappointment in her kit is coming from: People playing her like traditional dps always picking her face cards and trying to use her np every turn are using her wrong, she requires a different playstyle than most players are used to. I like this comp the same reason I like her van gogh comp. Any team where you can avoid picking her cards is a good fit for her imo. That's where you get the maximum value out of her passives, avoid having to deal with her shitty face cards, and still get really decent damage once every few turns. This is why I don't like her looping performance, I don't like her solo performance, and I probably won't like her TA performance either. Those playstyles kinda play counter to her inherent strengths. It does suck that they made her buster and extra cards so cool only for them to kind of end up as a trap though...

Moon Cancer Kiara is also a dps who gets alot of value just by existing. I understand that she almost doesn't offer any teamplay like Aoko, but she can just sit in the field and do almost nothing till she gets super destructive turns back to back, and unlike Aoko, she doesn't risk losing momentum by looping.

I honestly think that unless you’re playing a Van Gogh crit comp, Aoko should be all in on her NP, arts chains, and her extra attack. The AOE buster is nice, but with only her self buffs it kinda just feels like a card that steals bullet stacks from more useful cards.

is there a reason not to use aoko's 1st skill on turn 4? you get 3 magic bullets and stars for free since the plan was to use 3 NPs in sequence next turn, so it being on cooldown on turn 5 wouldnt make a difference, but you would have 1 magic bullet extra at turn 6 and could use it again to + 6 since its just 2t cd

also, reines NP gives overcharge to all allies. on turn 8 castoria was at 273% and had a overcharge +1 stage from reines (OC3) if you put reines NP first and then castoria second on the NP chain, she would have +1 OC cuz of the chain and +1 OC from reines NP and reach 500% OC already since reines overcharge only reduces crit chance, the better option would be reines > castoria > aoko to do more damage and on turn 10, the def reduction from aoko's own overcharge could be a decisive factor on the break bar since it had only 6k HP left

It's slower because of obvious reasons and it don't take much advantage of Mighy Chains - but is seems safer. It's a middle ground between Morgan and Himiko comps, it'll depend on your playstyle.

NA gets everything 2 years late, which is convenient since you get to have 2 years of foresight to make decisions, but also means you're 2 years behind lol. Especially if you're a content creator in the field, there's not much reason not to play JP version
