It's very, very close between him and Caren for top spot IMO. Caren requires more investment, but is less refund dependent so can work on some nodes Dantes might not. Either way though, I'm pretty stoked for my boy as I wouldn't have even still considered him top 5 a day ago on JP.

@@Cav829 Yeah, I think he and Sen are right behind Caren due to the refund-oriented farming. Though, I think Dantes is better than them fot CQs due to his BB deck and pierce.

@@Cav829 The problem with Caren is that you need both Skadi's 2nd Append skill, and even nowadays, there are a lot of players who don't lvl up or neither disblocks their Servant's appends. Of course, you can just use Skadi's face cards (what relies on RNG) ou just use Castoria (what reduces Caren overall dmg)

Dantes and most recently Musashi also had an update. And he's dying fighting forcibly in Guda's nightmare in the new Interlude. What all this means is that they will appear in the "Nahui Mictlan" and fight against the absolute ORT in exchange for their promised death.

lol I think he will try but fail and end up helping us to summon Arcueid instead. I mean how else is she canonically supposed to show up in the story? Definitely not being summon by Mash's shield lol.

@@BirthdayFreak67 Presumably the Arcueid in LB7 will be Archetype Earth - the REAL one, not a fragment only just barely able to even fit into a Class container. The only way this can feasibly go down is TYPE vs TYPE or using the original Black Barrel to make OORT go to sleep. Unless we find some additional conceptual weapons, I can't imagine any circumstance were this is a winning battle.

@@PlushieMistress Obviously, he can get to fifty percent charge with three enemies, what I mean is if his append skill 2 plus new battery allows him to use BG turn 1 with a Skadi battery and then continue. Castoria is still broken.

Reliable against riders at max, probably can go against knight classes if your Dantes is happen to be grailed and g-foued (this without plug incase someone didn't know)

I mean, if he get buffed by those support units i think its pretty obvious. Beside, him being only NP1 have nothing to do with his new upgrade skill since it didnt increase his damage

@@farizahmad3036 It's an indirect damage/np gain buff, since now you don't have to run him with Kaleido and can actually use all sorts of NP gain CEs (like that Shuten one) or damage CEs (like that Origin Bullet).

Does this mean he is the best AoE quick looper again? He has less dmg than Sokitan at w1 and w2 but more dmg at w3 which is the more important part. Same case with Sen but Dantes can start with the usual 2 Skadis + Christmas Traces if dmg is not a problem. edit: i mistook Caren's damage as Sokitan lol, this means Dantes tops Sokitan completely in 3 Skadis setup

@@Mustang1730 Caren can't do 1/1/x without Kscope/ToC but she can do both 2/1/x and 1/2/x if my memory serves correctly. Also, Caren can do 3/3/x with BG/6CE and 2k4 (so plugless) without relying on overkill, so there's that too.
