I'll use this pinned comment to answer a few common questions I noticed. Q: Now that Oberon is released, will you update this Tierlist? A: Short answer: No. Long Answer: While simple at first glance, Oberon is a complicated addition to the Support roster, as he can actually help out in every System to date and not just Buster. You can watch the Pretender System vid I made to get an idea of how he achieved this. As such, his usage should only be judged on a case by case basis. Edit: I lied. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nn-XhouCo8ibmpY Q: What if I don't have MLB Kscope? A: No problem at all for High tier and most of Standard tier. You can use Plugsuit + 50% Charger to replace MLB Kscope as long as your DPS has a 50% Battery with 6T cooldown or less. However, this means that BB Summer cannot use this method, as she's the only one with a 7T cooldown on her Battery. Same for Avicebron, though he can use a non MLB Kscope + Plugsuit + 50% Charger instead. In Emiya case, the 50% Charger also needs to be Castoria. Q: Can I use Mana Load Append skill in case I only have non MLB Kscope? A: Yes, you can. However, the caveat is that you'll lose a huge chunk of your Atk compared to using a MLB Kscope, and the fact that unlocking even 1 Append skill is not exactly an easy task. You need at least NP1 and Bond 6 or at least NP2 of a SSR to get enough coins to unlock 1 Append skill. Still, it is definitely the easier option than getting a MLB Kscope. Q: Why did you rank Arjuna Alter so low? A: Forcing the use of Plugsuit automatically deducts point from a Servant for me. You should know this by now from watching the other 2 Tierlists. His damage is truly disgusting though. Q: Why did you put Space Ishtar in Standard when she can do the same thing as Emiya? A: Because you really shouldn't be using Space Ishtar for this in the first place. Where is your Castoria? I'll update this if I notice any other good questions from time to time. No promise though.

Good Quick loopers can work with regular KScope and MA MC, whereas pretty much anyone with Koyanskaya needs MLBScope. So I wouldn't really frame this as a loss for DSS. The real loss for it was when Castoria came, anyway.

Honestly just because of that helping his damage, I might want to use him as my primary looper when Koya comes to NA, even at NP1. Drake, BB, and Saber are the only other 5 star options I have currently, and he's far above them in damage.

Kintoki, Moriarty, and Sanzang can also use this system in single target as potential boss killers. Sanzang can even do plugsuit Merlin for big turn 3 crits. Kintoki and Moriarty can do a 50% starting NP CE.

The weird irony is that Caster cu is on neutral Damage better than even Morgan on NP1. Morgan does less than 100k damage if her mods don´t prog whereas cu does with a non MLB black Gral around 110k neutral damage on wave 3..... as a 3*

Notably, though, at NP1 you need Bond 6 for SSRs, Bond 10 for non-general pool SRs and Bond 11 for general pool SRs/non-general pool Rs (like Cu) to be able to unlock said Append Skill.

EMIYA could also use BG with Castoria + Vitch + Atlas if anyone was wondering, there's multiple ways to build him now. Edit: I also found out that you can run Nero Bride with him as well with BG +Vitch + Atlas, but you need the 20% Append skill max. It does better damage on turn 3 than with Castoria, but it needs more overkill to loop and can't farm berserker enemies. On top of that if you're running Castoria + Vitch + Atlas, with Castoria it could be possible to loop off of 2 enemies on the field

Buster looping is the most busted thing I ever witness in fgo. No wonder merlin didnt have a 50% batterry. At least arts and quick relies on np refund which varies against enemy class and number of enemies. This buster looping system is just "see red, press red". Back to basic, but better in every way.

Not really. You still need a specific CE and a particular MC. In Arts looping you can run with anything and go everywhere with 6 event CEs farming like a fkin overworked ox. In Buster... You will need Man-trait, Human-trait (sometimes both) and abuse the crap out of class advantage otherwise its noodle damage and unlike in Quick looping... There is no massive star bomb every turn for you to crit the mob. As xNaya has said :"the turn order is important". Buster memes is for the smart only if you have small brain dont bother doing it.

This is perfect for CQs. making that buff 3T, would make every other unit in the game irrelevant. EMIYA is now one of the best farmers in the game, and he’s also one of the best ST units in the game via Hawkeye.

EMIYA can also utilize black grail. But requires atlas MC and a castoria to work (or plugsuit castoria if you want more damage with double vitch). In this setup he performs an arts/arts/buster loop, which could probably reach the same damage as the arts/buster/buster loop shown in the vid. In addition, he can also reach 300% buster crit damage on turn 3 if you use his hawkeye on turn 1. If vitch had 100 percent crit damage up at max level on her skill 3 he could've gone 400% buster crit damage on turn 3😲

Vitch's crit damage is only limited to buster crit though and EMIYA's got only 1 buster card, so it's 300% Buster crit dmg and 200% crit damage. He'd be the perfect Buster/Arts hybrid if he just had an extra buster card, then he'd be able to do Buster NP chains and Arts NP chain. He also gets 200% star gen too lol, you can legit generate 90 stars on a single enemy on turn 3 if you do a brave chain with him

The biggest advantage of Double Vitch system is that you don’t have to fight for a Caster slot. Now you can have Skadi in All for Quick, Castoria in Caster for Art, Vitch in Assassin for Buster and Reines in Raider to be battery slave. Oh heck, just realize that now I can have a fully OP Harem support list that is exclusively make up of cute girls/hot chicks without any dude and it still make sense.

how to build buster np looping with double koyanskaya. step 0 - kscope. yep its that hard for us who doesnt have kscope at all. jokes aside its not easy to build quick and arts as well cuz you need specific servants for looping and based on card arrangement, you need to consider that factor as well. more star gen from hits, start with quick. more damage from np, start with Buster. its versatility is what comp building makes FGO abit of a brain game.

U can dish out with double castoria and berserk musashi 300k damage if u use both castorias np If u use plugsuit like arjuna its way bigger than arjunas attack but u have to use a black grail for this I still think that castoria looping is superior to anything cus its cheaper faster and castoria is the best support for everything in this game not just for looping

@@Zeon081 imo Arjuna is the biggest winner here if you have vitch and castoria or waver (should be everyone by this time) At np1 he does almost 300k dmg to 1 target and the good thing he is immune to small wave. Unless there’s a foreigner node there’s little to no case where you can’t bring him

Emiya can do it without Kaleidoscope though. By filling Emiya's NP bar in the initial round (of course the transfer mana skill is active with NP art), plus the CE Divine banquet. Can allow Emiya to charge his NP to 100%.Then in the second round the transfer skill can be used again because of the effect of the previous vitch skill, Of course the NP will be filled 100%.

reminder that given 120 gives you 2300 attack and some change if you somehow got a servant to 120 and got the charge append somehow without getting an MLB Kscope it perfectly replaces it. given its confirmed we can get event coins from events you don't have to worry that much but if you want to get this day one it would take about NP 4 and bond 9-10, although of course if you go above bond 10 you can knock off an NP level or 2

Yeah because Koyanskaya only provides a single damage type(Buster) while Artoria's got all 3 damage types(Buster, Charisma, NP damage) and she can use her broken steroid twice and stack her charisma twice as well. She has the most chemistry with double koyanskaya

Technically MLB scope isn't always needed due to the 20% starting charge append skill, it's easy enough to get through high bond and NP1 for 5 stars, or NP2 and high bond (or just NP1 bond 10) for 4 stars, non-MLB scope would work too, that said lower stats due to unleveled CE, but it is an alternative. The new Wizard Marshal CE would also work, since it's just an hp focused scope, weaker, but still an alternative.

Not really its still bond 6 and a lore involved. If you already have a solid Buster roster already built up to a decent level then its ok. But if you DONT have a solid Buster roster (aka when you pull for a new Buster servant) then Plugsuit is MANDATORY.

Additionally I never mentioned plugsuit or any mystic codes, however yeah, plugsuit or Atlas are what you need for Vitch looping depending on the CD of your servants battery (assuming they have one), much like how fragment of 2004 is run with specific Quick and Arts looping setups instead of plugsuit. Also, It's much more feasible to hit bond 6 (or role more copies for of a servant for higher NP and tokens) and spend a lore than get an MLB scope for the vast majority of players, since neither bond nor lores rely on RNG to get.

I could be wrong, but I believe it is possible to use Space Ishtar's 1st NP as Arts. to get a 50% refund. 3 enemies (not beserk or assassin), Fragment of Year 2004 (50% NP gain/ 50% NP damage) , CE that gives NPgain/arts bonus/50% starting NP, like Painting Summer or Magical Girl of Sapphire. I think 50% refund is possible, at least very close.

With Oberon on the way having 70% battery and appends you could even have 20% battery servants loop with a mlb sakurascope at minimum. 20 append + 40 from battery twice + 75 sakurascope = 135 + Oberon 70 = 205 + double vitch = 305 Or alternatively use superscope and skip the append.

Kinda meh. Based from direwolf's vid, he needs koyanskaya to clear wave 1 and the he can proceed to np on wave 2 and 3. A workaround is to use arash on wave 1 since you'll most likely run him in saber nodes anyways.

You'll have to use Vitch's own NP on turn one, so he doesn't work as a solo DPS. You can use MLB Kaleidoscope on Vitch and any CE on Napo, though, so you can still keep a 5CE composition.

Napoleon can't three turn with double Koyanskaya alone but I think he definitely can with the switching mystic code. He wasn't including in the video because he requires more help than just double koyanskaya.

Napoleon and a few other servants (including those with just a 20% charge on their kit) can't NP 3 turns in a roll, but they can NP twice, so you can just use Vitch to clear wave one. It's a lot of work for not that good a result, but if that is all you can do, it's an option.

Funny how all the High Tier consists of Servants were considered bad or mediocre at one point, yet all it took was a few buffs and the newest meta Support to launch them to the top of the pile. For the Standard Tier Servants, you can still use them without a MLB Kaleidoscope. A normal K-scope is fine. But you would need a lot of extra effort into it though. Every 5* servants has 3 new skills now, one of them being a 10~20% starting NP gauge at the beginning of the fight. To level up the skill you need normal skill level up materials. So then with a 20% NP gauge at the beginning of the fight + 80% from Kaleidoscope, the Standard Tier Buster Farming with Vitch became a little more possible.

Considering I don't even have regular Kscope, I'm gonna have to get really creative with my party building. Luckily I have several CEs with 50% NP, a maxed out Castoria, and of course, the infamous plugsuit. I'll also be getting Waver for my free SSR as I don't have him and I need more general support Servants. Yes, I know Oberon comes out after the anniversary, but I just do not have enough sq to try pulling for him. My main priorities are Morgan and Koyanskaya, followed by Melusine. Maybe if I have any sq remaining, I might try pulling for him but he's not my highest priority.

As long as your 50 percent battery has a 6t cooldown , you can do it that way. Considering alot of players also chose waver in the ssr ticket, there isn't much of a problem obtaining a third charger either.
