Let’s be honest, countering the counter would result in an endless loop and while funny and meme worthy would be utterly game breaking, especially if both of them had evade. Think about it, if neither one takes damage, and uses their counter against the others counter… when will it end? Again as funny as it would’ve been, I think they were smart not to make it happen

@@actuallyreallybored it shouldn't be that hard to add a piece of code that says "if you've countered the counter once or more, do nothing" Clearly they can detect that it's the counter that hit her, so they could have made it detect the counter, counter it, have that counter attack, which in turn stops the loop saying "wait I've counter this counter already!"

The NP animation makes some since now knowing it's a counter. I can't think of any games where you can counter a counter.

I'm disappointed that Bazett doesn't PREVENT enemies from dealing damage with their NPs. It's also weird that she spams Fragarach to every attack. Still not preventing it. This particular mechanic suits Angry Mango thousand times more than it suits Bazett.

When did it say Fragarach can prevent enemies from dealing dmg? I don't recall that. Isn't that weapon more like kill the enemy first before they kill you ?

@@ReCursedy yeah she did not prevent, but iirc the enemy attack would not be launched AT ALL, because fragracht through time distortion would activate before the enemy NP is deployed to counter it. So it might as well prevent damage practically speaking. Gae Bolg was the one exception in HA (there would probably be more in FGO), since it also dealt with space/time distortion, making it so that it would ALWAYS strike the heart, meaning both it and fragrach ended hitting at the same time. That said, an NP that nulls and counters NPs would be at the same time too strong and too weak in this game (you'd be able to deal damage with it like once every 4/5 turns, but you would trivialize most bosses and challenge quests), so that's probably why they didn't keep it that way.

If i recall Fragarach changes things so it's launched before the target's strongest attack which does in itself prevent Bazette from getting hurt since the attack that triggered Fragarach is basically cancelled out except when something like Gae Bolg which essentially has the same effect is used or if someone is able to power through the damage before they die i admit that last part is just a MASSIVE guess as i'm not sure if it's even possible but in F/GO it looks like it doesn't prevent damage at all

@@MDKGunner last part is possible. When used against Artoria she was basically sorta deadly wounded but not dead yet. Plus I assume if you hit Heracles with that, it wouldn't take out all of his lives at once.

It would be pretty hilarious if two Bazett would just chain procs until one died. It would be super broken though considering you would just use a turn based invuln and auto win. Or you know both have invuln and just infinite loop the game. A lot of people are out there saying she is garbage though because of all the quirks and use cases of her NP but i think she has real potential to be good in a lot of cases. Half of the playerbase just see someone who cant loop and tries to throw then in the trashcan.

Honestly, Fragarach works in gameplay nothing like it should be. Fate Fragarach is not "got hit so they get hit back" Fate Fragarach is "When opponent is using their trump card, hit them before they can even use them, thus in practical term, canceling it" The whole point was that it allowed Bazzet to defeat Servants WITHOUT getting hit.

She's solid imo. Good internal and hitcounts, pretty solid damage. She can regain her NP pretty fast. NP damage/counter can't break bars, probably to avoid any kinds of confusion in the code, but it's pretty easy to work around that.
