Ishtar is pretty good, she's just also in a class that's filled to the brim of strong servants. I personally won't be rolling for her, but being so strong and a Rin face really makes me regret that choice at times.Her biggest weakness compared to Gil or Tesla isn't her NP damage, she has a niche of being able to hit non servants harder (well, if NP2+, NP1 Gil actually outdamages NP1 Ishtar against non servants, but NP2+ Ishtar vs NP2+ Gil gives Ishtar more NP damage against non servants.) Her biggest weakness is that she doesn't build NP as easily as Tesla or Gil who both have a really strong NP% gain up skill in Golden Rule and Galvanism. This means while Tesla and Gil can fire NP's extremely frequently, Ishtar can't, at least not without extra support, which is what tends to lead GIl and Telsa being viewed as stronger than her as a lot of bigger fights where you need AoE, tend to be wave after wave of servants. Gil and Tesla can generally just rotate NP's quicker than Ishtar. 50% NP battery is amazing though, and while Tesla also shares it, she does a lot more damage to non-servants and man servants.

Ishtar, Gil, and Tesla is more of nuke though, so np% is not help that much. Her main weaknesses (or strong point if if you know how to use it) is her third skill. 1 turn delay is hurt quite much

@@danielak1666 I wouldn't say they're nukes. A lot of later game stuff is either break bars or large waves with multiple servants. On those, you need constant NP rotation, which is what Gil and Tesla can do. Ishtar struggles at that. The third skill delay also sucks too, but that's mainly for facecard predictions, not NP issues.

I was rolling literally one tenshot to get a couple event ces - last card turns golden, archer, Ishtar. Jesus Christ, shoulda saved that EX luck for Merlin... I already have Arjuna, Tesla and Emiya so I don't see myself using her anytime soon, but eventually she might make a nice team with Arjuna, he would appreciate the crit strength buff. I feel like battery skills should always be prioritized first when skill leveling a servant. There really isn't much of a difference between, say, 18% attack buff and 20% attack buff. But there's a world of a difference between 49% np charge, and 50%. Having a powerful battery like that is what makes Ishtar so good imo.

I don't disagree with that, though the reason I prioritize the atk buffs over NP charge is due to the lower CD. Having a charisma with a 5 turn CD is a lot better than a 7 turn CD, it means you have the buff active for at least 60% of the battle

@@GAReviews Thats true, but, Ishtars niche is being a stronger farmer versus non servant enemies. She's a farmer first imo, and supporter/boss battler second. So, 50% battery feels more important than giving the team a charisma boost.

Happy to come back and enjoy this video. Swinging and missing on Ishtar last year really pushed me to save harder for those I wanted this year. Feels good that I got the lovely if not...quirky goddess this time around. Easy to enjoy great spotlights when you do get servants you wanted. She may be flawed in some respects, but will enjoy seeing her nuke some enemies. Plus can enjoy her entertaining combat in the anime a bit more.

She was my first SSR in JP, an account that has some weird luck going on because I literally have 1 Saber class servant in the form of Saberlot that I got after beating the fifth singularity. He was the first and only Saber I have despite having great luck at getting solid servants from other classes.

I'm not really a huge rin fan so this is another one of those ce banners for me. Not only that but, I've been in this long quest to level up all event relevant servants ahead of time (seriously, I have almost everyone leveled up through oniland) and I don't feel like adding ishtar on top of that since there are a lot of 5 stars coming up that I want to add to my collection anyway. I was tempted as heck to roll for her myself, but since I managed to pull Eresh on JP along with having rider Ishtar, I think I can resist her (or well I can resist spending more than just a single 80 pack in an effort to get her anyway) and in terms of use-while it depends on the node I generally prefer using her (from what I have experienced with support Ishtars) over Gil most of the time. That debuff resist is incredibly useful versus certain boss fights that I had been struggling with. Got Tsun Tsun goddess randomly spending 1 ticket and 3 SQ on rerun. In total i spend like 30 SQ more at start. At beggining of year i kind of wanted save for Abi but well maybe didn't have enough resolve or strong will to resist gacha calling. Looking at comments where ppl saved like 500sq and 100 tickets and fail doesn't inspire confidence. After wasting my tickets in First Hassan to no avail I used the SQ from weekly missions for a single summoning in this cristmas re-run. Yes I am gloating, over these 5 months of game I got Merlin, Tamamo, Shuten and Osakabehime with single rolls and now I have Ishitar with enouth stock to go nuts on Eresh. I admit that Lartoria's "Kingly Treasures" led me astray, costing me over 150 SQ but I see it as learning experience.

I plan to roll for her. I have good archers, but none that are buster archers and only one with an aoe NP (Atalante). If luck favors me, having a buster archer with aoe NP would be a nice addition to my roster.

I got her with a few tickets, so happy. Even though I only have her at NP level 1, is she still useful in the current Japanese gameplay? I seen a lot of players roll for her until they have her NP to 5.

I'm going all in on Ishtar. She's one of the Servants that caught my attention even before the NA server went up. So far, I've gotten everyone I'm playing the game for. I hope that trend continues.

Gil is a little better but they are close in power so you can just roll for whichever one is your personal favorite character and you won't miss much. If it helps, Gil has more rateups than Ishtar.

@@GAReviews First of, let me say that I thank you for your reviews and generally look through / listen to your opinion about a servant before I intentionally try to a 5* (sometimes... unintentional drops happen like Cleo... who showed up after 3 rolls) I decided to wait for Ishtar because of efficiency. Since the next event is starting up and event CEs are going to be coming, I figure I can get more mileage for my Quartz if I rolled there Since you did say that their power levels are about the same (with Gil more geared towards taking down servants thanks to Enuma Elish's buff against servants) and Gil has more drop rate up, I think I can pass on Gil for this banner and wait for the next appearance! Thanks for the help ^_^ PS: Do you know if Merlin will be released in NA this year or next? :)

How good of a team is Ishtar, Maid Alter, and a waver from my support list with Atlas Academy Uniform. Is double magic gem worth it or should I save my quartz to try and raise best girl's (Kiyohime Lancer) np level as much as possible.

Tested this strat with a friend's Maid Alter, Ishtar, and Hans (because I don't have waver). It turns out just like with invincibility, delayed buffs do not stack.

Love FGO Didn't get the last copy of brave ellie's CE. But I haven't played in 3 weeks, no regrets though. I'm into boats now.
