She's a Perfect Support for Berserker Sei & Xiang Yu. She have a Quick up for their NP and also a Buster Crit potential for both of them. Xiang Yu & Sei with 3 Buster cards would hit like a Truck and also have a good NP damage potential. With her Existence that Weird Problem of having Tripple Buster and Quick NP deck is Solved

Hands down I was never happier with a servant, shishou is my absolute favourite and I think they nailed everything here! I love her looks, her final art is SSS tier cultured material and I am now in a constant state of torture for 2 years straight until I can get my hands on my queen. Until then I'll collect my bunny costume next month and try to np 2 my og shishou.

The final ascension looks delicious Man, Summer skadi is quite unique. With her ruler class, she can survive many battles longer and since her NP is damaging, you don’t have to pull a chen-gong or throw arash to clear early waves or irregular waves

Weird how Gate of Aegir didn't create a Waterside field when it literally involves transporting her foes underwater, would be nice in order to proc her conditional NP Strength Up and also become a Waterside enabler on top of being a Quick-Buster support without relying on Summer Melt or Weather Man ZJ.

After doing the math (so long as my math is right), double Summer Skadi + Paracelsus allows Summer Okita Alter to loop with Black Grail. Honestly, that's just impressive. You'd have your work cut out for you with other Servants, however.

I'm a little disappointed that they finally introduced a new Quick support... only to double down on double-dipping with Buster, like how they "fixed" Osakabehime. She's a sidegrade* that doesn't really address base Skadi's issues, much less Quick's issues as a whole. There seems to be a theme this year that they only "buff" Quick in ways that mostly benefits everything _but_ itself. *Considering she can do most of what Caster Skadi can do AND more, she leans a lot towards being an upgrade; although being geared for mixed decks, rather than supplanting Caster Skadi altogether, keeps her from being a strict upgrade.

The point of Summer Skadi’s Buster support is not to become they want her to be a mixed support, but to buff the quick servants. Most quick servants does not worry about crit star because they generate enough crit star. What they worry about is being able to use those crit stars effectively. Thus, problem with using Skadi is that your damage hinges on your NP + 2 to 3 Quick cards. If you don’t get a good spread of quick cards in the 3 turns, then Skadi’s buff is wasted. Summer Skadi fixes the problem by increasing the cards you need to rely on, by adding Buster into the mix.

I don't know how representative that is of the playerbase, but a quick sift through of the AOE Quick units on Gamepress doesn't paint a positive picture. My disagreement lies in you being disappointed in Ruler Skadi's buster support, while I think that the buster support is a fix for Quick servants. You said my point doesn't apply to QQAAB, but I disagree. QQAAB servants were in a better spot before Ruler Skadi because they were better at looping their NP because of the double art cards. Their Arts card was usable, and the only weakness was in their Buster card as it does nothing for them. Ruler Skadi makes it so that all 5 of their cards can do something. Quick and Buster cards will be damaged, while Arts cards are used to charge NP gauges. I do realize that QQAAB got the shorter end of the stick here, but they still are in a better spot then before the buff. Quick, as you said, is a fundamentally broken archetype. I completely agree. The archetype is stuck between Art's insane NP looping ability and Buster's press the red card and thing explodes. The only way to really increase its viability, as I see it, is to increase its damage scaling, np generation, and maybe also give passive crit damage up when selecting the card first. A complete overhaul to the system and not something single support that could magically fix.

The only circumstance to which you can apply that logic is with boss fights/CQs; otherwise, it's mostly irrelevant and the deck suffers from the same issues as Assassin decks. Yet even within the context of boss fights, the difference is marginal in practice. I'd also like to point out that you're defense of her buffing the one lone Buster card is... much the same issue that you laid out in your first reply, where much of the damage comes from NP+hoping the right color card comes up. Except instead of "2-3 Quick cards," it's now "just the one Buster card." Unless that Buster shows up at the _exact right time,_ it ain't worth shit. You're better off using Caster Skadi for those two Quick cards. The fact remains that much of what she brings to the table are only marginal for most Quick units.
