It's rather fitting. Unlike Achilles, he is only a human of no divine lineage. Although I don't think Hector of actual myth has a rocket prosthetic gauntlet.

@@GameLover45408 the greatest hero of Troy who also was one of the medieval ideal of what a husband and man should be, who's divine spear became durandal. Another great hero mandricardo found his great armor and his whole myth was a journey to find the great spear. When mentioning the ultimate throws of the war and comparing Cu's throw it wasn't with the likes of anyone else but that of Hector's. With no divine advantage of his own, and given his own words it was unlikely he even used durindana against Achilles, he still nearly won, losing with just a paper thin difference in skill. ..yeah no. This guy deserves to be a SSR.

Ah, Hektor. Saved my ass so many times with his second skilll ... while at times being almost useless cause said skill is chance based. He already becomes way better with the next buff, but I really wish they buff his Disengage to give more party utility. One option (still playing on his shield of Troy role) would be giving him a 1 turn self-taunt and defense up so he could make use of his decent HP bar to protect the party. Another could be giving him one more offensive skill (inspired by the assault against the greek camp that also led to Patroclus death), like generating stars and party critical damage after 1 turn, as if taking a turn to prepare a counter offensive. It would also play with his "I'm an old man who doesn't want to fight", by having him wait a turn.

Now both of those would work great! Buffing his disengage in particular would take a huge step towards making him a better Servant, and just matching his kit up better

i have him 70 aiming for 80, i have it for a long time but i was waiting to get the apropiate Command code for him, Using some survavility ones alongside Da Vinci NP+ really makes him a Hero to fear!, aaand also he is the 3* lancer with the highest regular hp so he is pretty hard to kill

I only leveled him because I'm a fan of Mandricardo, and Mandricardo is a fan of Hektor. Though the quartz from the interlude was nice. Its nice to see him a bit more in events now. Because when Paris shows up Hektor is sure to follow.

Instead of this st00pid a$$ disenggage, he should have a taunt + invincible + maybe some np gain buff or battery (to emphasise him being Achilles rival, of sorts) . It's sad, that he happend to be one of the early servants, so now he lacks identity. Rn, he's more of a offensive nuker, than expert defence tactician, which isn't that bad, cuz i can use him outside of cqs.

Whatever it is, I want him to be a fairly decent choice for cqs, like David or Euryale. It sucks that Achilles gets so much spotlight, while Hektor is just appreciated by a niche.

I would give him an NP siphon to his Proof of Friendship skill like Euyrales and his Disengage to have Evade and Taunt with an NP gain.

Hektor surprised me the one time I used him so far. Was in Shimousa and honestly just put him out there to do some damage but ultimately die to one of the bosses. This man did not fucking die for over 20 or 25 turns (I went back to where I was bitching about it on discord to check and it turns out only one of my supports died, Hektor was still going strong by the end), admittedly I had two supports to constantly have heals up but good lord he was instrumental in that lasting for so long. Also, Durindana is one of the sexiest weapons in existence, fucking fight me

Hektor is one of my favorite servants, even now I already have another ssr lancer servant I'm still using him until today (yup, also grailed him to level 100). I remember I used him in Shimousa and he saved my ass (Cu FSN also saved me too back then). Hektor deserved better treatment.

Nice! Always great to see a Level 100 1-3* Servant, and especially one as likeable as Hektor! Hopefully he receives a buff to his Disengage skill at one point - I think that will be the final step into making him a truly well-rounded Servant!

With his first skill getting more time AND a some defense, it's clear DW wants to nudge him towards that supporting role. All he needs now is a fix on that terrible Disengage. Taunt with defense up for 1 turn would make sense for him (i think it stacks with damage cut?), acting as a second "breather" skill for the team. If they don't want to upgrade Disengage, then at least make his second skill 100% on the drain, 100% on both effect (at level 10 of course), or make it a "Imperial Privilege" deal by adding a surefire effect. In this case, 30% attack down for 2 or 3 turns JUST in case the stun fails.

Going off hektors life, he should be mash but Lancer class. He is so well known for fighting DEFENSIVE battles but they have him play aggressively, fgo does this to a lot of people. The fgo universes' rules state that the more well known a servant is the Stringer they'll be but Spartacus and asterios are 1 stars? EVERYONE KNOWS SPARTACUS AND THE MINOTAUR???

I do hope they give him further upgrades that further show off his skills at defence that turned the normally overwhelming advantage of having Achilles into an eternal tie, probably through disengage or giving a second NP upgrade (now possible at least due to Vlad) that makes it apply the def he takes from enemy to allies and have him work together with Mash for those taking 0dmg straits. Though with more generally popular characters, even if purely by recognisability from anime appearances like Gilles, do have more desperate need for upgrades may leave him waiting for a bit...will probably still get it before Jalter gets her anim update since the supposed waifu focus on the game is as inconsistent as non-Ozy imperial privilege. The guy really should be a very good team player given how well liked he was by everyone during Trojan war and how basically everyone in Europe is his descendent through his son, which also means everyone is part Zeus.

It's durandal, the same sword from the French folklore I think? It's the sword that was used by one of the knights of charmalagne named roland. In the nasuverse it's the sword that was used by hektor but instead of using it's sword form he uses it's spear form, although when he died it lost its ability to become a spear. But still called the unbreakable holy sword/spear (if hektor)
