She's British, but lived in America for a long time, her accent is a British one that has been Americanized. If you watch older videos of her she has a much more obviously British accent; check out this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5S1fImVrdSgo9E to see her original accent.

She was born in Dublin, Ireland. Strangely I find the Irish accent more clearly noticeable in this video than in the video cited ("her original accent").
