My deepest condolences. I lost my father years ago and, as I was very close to him, I still feel his loss keenly. You take your time to grieve. It's not a quick process. I enjoy your channel so much and I am 85. I even told my daughter in CA about your channel. I have learned so much from you. We are not ever too old to learn new things. Was really hard to hear about the loss of your dad. We are praying for a lot of widows we know and also people who have loss one of their children. Take time to grieve but hang on to those memories you built with your dad. I have the color of your blanket sprinkled throughout my living room because it used to be a major color of my living room. Still in my lammpshades and matting around some art. I was going to get rid of the color and then I thought why not let it be my third color. It is a very thoughtful thing that you do to share some of your finds with others. At my age I don't really have anymore needs but I still think it is a very nice gesture that you include in your channel.

Wishing you strength and courage and sending you lots of love. My mom and brother and I talk about my dad all of the time, the silly things he did, things he said, times he got mad, his sense of humor and laughter, and it helps us keep his memory alive. My dad is always with me when I am traveling, and I can hear him tell me to have the tires checked, fill the tires evenly, check the oil. My mom is in rehab trying to get stronger where she fell and my cousin, like a sister is in the hospital fighting for her life. So process the grieving how ever you need to. My grandmother was 30 years ago and my mom was 20 years ago and it feels like yesterday. Grieve as much as you need.
