Fiat 500 Mint with no name - Day Two - Cat N - Servicing, Will that heater work?

Today with continue with the repair. Still quite a lot to do. Today, we clean the wheels, clean the seats, service it and flush that oil as well as the cambelt being done with a bit of a surprise for me. Can we get that heating working.

Another great video, glad you got the heating issue sorted, btw got my boot pull handle, and put it on, was a bit of a palaver as I couldn’t find the attachment for my small ratchet, so had to use the torx bit and pliers to nip it up. But it is 1000 times better than the cheap looking strap. 😂

Paul I had my doubts about the thermostat because the rad top hose was getting hot and thats coming from the thermostat housing too as you know. I had difficulty too with the oil filter but for a different reason, the tool I had was too big to fit around it.

Yeah I've had that trouble too. I've got two tools and one of them I just can't use. The other one, I can get it behind by turning it sideways first. I might try one of those belt type ones. I don't think it had been off for sometime. Never had as much trouble as this one before.

@Love500 I made a right mess of it. I ended up sticking a screwdriver into it most of the way round. Yes I think a strap type tool is all that will fit. I didn't have the time to purchase one,or maybe too lazy 😔.

my k4 was plastic cyl head leaking cheap relatively easy fix Paul. ideal job for a rainy day in the garage.

Another great video, Paul. I have been watching your channel for a while and have subscribed. Any tips on my wife's Twinair 500 stop start lights or warning lights won't clear on the dash. Has been in 4 garages thanks Jimmy. Cheers from Ireland. PS. great job on the car so far.

@@jembo1959 often caused by a faulty brake light switch. Could also be stop/start sensor on the negative battery terminal or a bad earth strap. The first would bring a code up using multiecuscan.

Could the k4 be an issue because the pipe from the unit to the spray head was badly kinked causing back pressure?

Cars always something different catching us out . Fortunate you didnt take it for mot or road test or it would have got a bit warm under the collar. At least its sorted now heater wise .
