This episode on the Fiat 500 Sport Automatic i am working on the Actuator that sites on top of the gear box hopefully this will sort the gears out

hi i have the same gear change problem with a fiat panda as you with the 500. could you please tell me where you ordered the seal kit from please

Petroleum grease will destroy the seals, you needed to use plumbers grease as its silicon based, petroleum grease will degrade the seals and make the seals swell and fail over a short period.

@@ResurwreckAutosUK Muti purpose grease is derived from mineral oil, which is basically petroleum based, unless it says otherwise on the label.

@@stevenc5227 i didn’t use grease on the seals only used where metal are moving together I did show and say this buddy when fitting the seals I used oil 👍👍

Id give the citroen a fill or two with cheap oil and flush. Get as much cleaned out of the system before doing timing belt and service if it proves to be worth it. The engineer that came up with the wet belt needs as we Irish say "a good hiding" 😂

to be honest mark a citreon with that engine with a 100k plus on it would you be happy driving long distance in it i have a pug 2015 208 with 40k with the same engine and i am a bit wary p.s i have been following you from day one and wouldnt hesitate buying a car off you apart from this one unless there was a replacement engine anyway good luck
