I like the modular battery idea. I have been punting such a concept for a while. The range that most modern electric cars carry around with them is largely redundant on day to day use. I want to be able to have 50% of my battery capacity removable so I can leave it at home working as part of a home energy system. Then when I go on a long trip I can slot it into the car. Is this part of the concept Fiat has in mind?

I'm really interested in this car. I just wish it were slightly bigger ... both wider and longer, something around the size of a Ford Edge or Honda Passport. I'm gonna keep an eye out for this tho. Oh yeah, change the plug-in spot to either side of the vehicle, I don't like the idea of the wire laying on top of the hood of the car while charging.

Tupapa'u As far as I know the solar panel’s main function is to provide auxiliary power. It won’t charge the battery. Thanks!

This is an awesome car...a lot of practical features are in this car. Love the diversity, flexibility and marketability especially for small starter business's to have more intimate control to advertise their business. I always imagined having the ability to send a quick message to the car bhind me at a stop light. My only concern is the idea of the child seat in the front, facing frontward. I hope it will be available in the U.S.A. I believe that with the materials used in this model the vehicle will be affordable to a broader economic spectrum of buyers as they have options that can be added on after purchase by Fiat and not after market brands, which means the value of this Fiat is sustained (in my opinion)...that to me is a biggie! Fiat's innovation reminds me of the Italian funiture company Clei which is top of the line in my book. 👍👏🤸‍♀️👍!

Great concept... what about battery production? Until they build a battery factory they won't be able to compete with Tesla. My guess is they will wait for somebody else to do it, then buy the batteries from them, which is fine, but in that case the battery packs will be standardized, rather than intergrated. And development will be a lot slower and require work with 3rd parties.

Great ideas in that little car...now, make it a bit larger to sell it here in America. No, I am not asking for it to be the size of a Suburban or even a mid size crossover like the Murano or Edge, but it needs to be larger than the current Fiat 500 or Jeep Renegade. The average American man and woman is very large.. both in height and weight... plus even if it is just a commuter car... people want two things here in the States... room for all their junk the buy and haul around as well as range... minimum of 200 miles even if all they do is 50 to 75 miles per day. Distances are great here.. specially in the Midwest and Western side of the country.... most people travel 50 to 100 miles daily. The public transportation here sucks big time and even just to go to the convenient store or supermarket you are putting 10 to 20 miles just to get some damn milk. Listen to me Fiat... give it range and space... the ideas in that little car are great but package is too small.
