Fiat Cinquecento 1.1 Sporting - Testdrive
This is a full test of my testdrive of a Fiat Cinquecento 1.1 Sporting.
It is an absolutly joy to drive! A car i really felt in love with!
I think, it could be a future classic! With those red seatbelts, the boxy design and the italian charm!
I'm all in for it!

Owned one in 1996 when new. Regret selling too soon. Was an absolute weapon on the lanes. Nothing could get away from it, it being so narrow!! Fancy another one actually as a modern classic.

Its just a car that makes you happy! both to look at and when driving. It kind of the same as my old MX5 :-)

You can easily swap the engine with a Fire 1.2 8v 75hp or 1.2 16v 86 hp or even a 1.4 16v 95 hp and you get a little bomb. All fit perfectly. By the way, the original rims look better

This little car is able for 160 km/h. But... In the cabin you will feel this speed as 250 km/h. Such a great fun...

This is with Airbag :) If I remember right, the non airbag came with a smaller and more sportier steering wheel :)

Your,as mine are the early models with the two spoke little sport steering wheel. This is also factorial with the airbag. But...this is a face lifted - "MODIFICATA" modell,which was made at the end of the production period. The following Seicento Sporting was produced with airbag...
