One of my dream cars despite people say it was ugly. But that 5-cylinder drives me nuts, I always have a thing about these kind of coupes, I have a hyundai coupe 1998 1.8 that I bought 2 years ago for RM10k, has 351k KM, sadly the odometer isn’t running when I bought it, currently in workshop in process of bolting in turbo. Due to COVID-19, project is delayed, But I think fiat coupes costs around RM25-30K nowadays, quite cheap if I think so myself

Is your Hyundai Coupe still using the original powerplant, or did it went the Evo route?

Yes, the Fiat Coupe can be had for between RM25k - RM80k as seem @ Mudah, depending on 16V / 20V, trim configuration, condition, etc. Go for the 20VT Plus if you could, as that is the fun model with the bangs and whistle. It's a bargain indeed!

Andy GoProNOOB still using my original powerplant the G4GM, I’ve spend RM6k for the project, but sources say the hyundai engine is reliable, it can go up to 600hp if done right, I’ve expected mine to go around 230whp, with 0.7 bar of boost

600hp?! That's going to be quite the project then. It's refreshing to see the original plant being used. Most of the time, the easy way out is to go with an engine swap.

Yes, it was never officially brought into the US, though I read of some chaps whom brought these in through parallel importers. They's are a hoot to drive!

I think this car would've done very well in the US, depending on price, against import cars of that generation like the Toyota Supra and Nissan 240SX.
