I have these on my van here in Australia. I have the front blind with the curved side pillar tracks so the blind clears the centre windscreen rear vision mirror. We found this windscreen blind great in our 40+ degree summer while driving. We pull the blind up about 8 or 10 inches to stop the sun beating down on the black dash and heating the cab. While driving, the aircon is much more efficient with the blind slightly up this way. It doesn't impede your driving vision. You have to wear polarised sunglasses to block the glare of the reflection of the white blind on the windscreen glass. We also have a curtain across behind the two seats, so the aircon is not trying to cool the whole van. which was never designed to achieve with a delivery van.

I fitted these to my last camper conversion I had to lower the sun blinds to stop it dripping However the side blinds where brilliant. No matter what you fit they are all over priced.

Thanks for you comment, yes at £700 they are expensive. But they are the preferred fit of a lot of camper and motor home makers. I think they were introduced during the pandemic so production facilities were hit. Also the cost of tooling. Many hundreds of thousands

I think most would agree that all the plastic part fit very well, and blinds manufacturers have ever stated no condensation.

@@KevinFiasco hi there and thanks for the question, they are any used for privacy and night time, when you put them away you could start the engine and defrost the widow screen using the vehicles de-misting mode as per normal. 👌

The solution is to buy the Dometic brand, they're very easy to fit yourself and most new camper vans and motor Homes are moving over to this manufacturer.
