2 Runs from this heavily modified FIAT Panda 100HP. The owner has seriously upgraded this little car, making it a very well handling little hot hatch whilst retaining the sleeper look.
SuperSprint 4-2-1 header with 200 cell sports catalyst and a custom catback with single exit, makes for a lovely deep 4 cilinder sound. I was in the car during the drive and I had a blast whilst eating up the corners (basically a cart!)
- Bilstein B6 (lowered by 30mm)
- BMC CDA Carbon Airbox (custom)
- Full Suspension refresh
- Full Powerflex Upgrades where possible
- Spacers 10mm all 4 corners
- Toyo Proxes T1R 205-45-15

It does! In the mean time, the owner modified his center silencer to remove the drone. It still sounds the same but the drone (especially on the highway) is gone

The header and sports catalyst make a major difference on these small NA engines. Also the owner added a BMC CDA carbon airbox, which should solve any restrictions in the intake. I don't think it has been dyno'd yet...

@@NDPhotonl Great sound from the exhaust but as a renowned Fiat engine builder in the UK told me, unless the parameters of the controlling injection chip are changed, a tubular manifold and bolt on air filter will have zero impact on performance. The standard chip will not allow more fuel or air which means no benefit and the Panda chip is so difficult to open except possibly using a piggyback. Indeed the BMC airbox on the panda is of less benefit than a replacement BMC mesh tray filter. On such a small engine however a chip change would only release less than 15hp. You would need different cams, valves, and headwork to release much more and for the expense better to leave the engine stock.

@@cbca6567 The owner mentioned that there is only 1 company in Italy who can write a chip for it, but he wont be going that route. Thanks for the feedback, I relayed this information to him! 🤝

@@NDPhotonl Hmm I wonder if he was talking about Protoxide in Italy which are the only company I saw promoting the panda 100hp in that respect, but like i said it is so hard that using a piggyback is the only alternative. I was told that on a standard motor the BMC carbon induction filter detracts performance. It works on heavily modified cars, with engine head work and cams etc and even more on turbocharged cars.That is why on mine I fitted a replacement mesh type tray filter from BMC. If you go the gearbox way there is also a close ratio dog gearbox with light gears available to buy along with shorter final drive ratio for the gearbox to improve acceleration and lastly a limited slip differential specifically for the panda 100hp, although all quite expensive! The sport exhaust and filter fitted to a stock car will not give hardly any more hp from such a small naturally aspirated non turbo engine.
