After many days of thinking and discussing,my girlfriend and i ordered a Tipo Estate with the Mirror package,same engine.It feels great.we had 2 Puntos in the family,it'll be nice to have a Fiat again.

Nice. I own it since 2016 and close 60000 km. Have no issues with it. The build quality is higher than Grande Punto i used to have. I think you will like it.

We had 2 mk II's ,both from 2001 with the 1.2 8v engine.Loved them.The second was given to my sister and she loves it aswell,drives it everywhere.I remember how many of my friends told me,that we were idiots for buying a Fiat.Now it repeats...from people who never ever owned a Fiat.

Yes it's the same. In Turkey they call it Fiat Aegea. In EU its Fiat Tipo. In Mexico Dodge Neon. Its manufactured by Fiat in its factory located in Turkey. I'm from Poland (Warsaw).

Na bogato. To jest golas. Jak był nowy poszła cewka zapłonowa. Wymienili mi też wentylator od nawiewu bo piszczał a tak to jeździ... Lepiej niż Grande Punto tam na gwarancji to były awarie.

I'm planning to buy this car for taxi use with GPL installed, i drive 250km to 400km a day, i would like to know from previous owners about this car, i heard the engine burns a lot of oil i would like to know how much oil consumption from service to service and what oil you are using and do you recommend it P.S: only 1.4 16V fire 95HP engines are sold where i live i read on the internet that the 1.6 engine doesn't burn oil

15000 km and I add no oil. Castrol Magnatec 5w-40 it has certificates that Fiat requires for this car (see manual).

No nie ma. 185 cm i jest trochę za wysoko. Tak 175-180 cm byłoby idealnie. Obecnie taki fotel można za 200 zł kupić. Bardziej mi dokucza to że tylna kanapa się nie składa. Bardzo niewiele Tipo wyszło bez takiej kanapy: w październiku 2016 już był to standard. Wożę że sobą klucz i dwie śrubki odkręcamy i oparcie się kładzie. Pozdrawiam

It's a belt. The valve clearance is adjusted automatically (hydraulic).

Hi all, just wondering whether you have some advise. We purchased a car like this a month ago, but it's struggling so much to go up a steep hill. The maximum speed we could get out of the car was 20-25 miles/hour. Is this the normal speed for this car? I felt like a cyclist would have been quicker than us.

Definitely not ok. Probably no spark. If the engine is running unstable I would exchange the spark plugs, than the sparking unit.

Change air filter with a sport one. Put ceramic additive in oil. I did it, not turbo now, but another car.

Did you purchase the engine cover seals? They don't sell them with the engine bay bakelite lock cover and the rubber seals in Turkey.

Hi its my daily car. I did 56000 km with it and no issues. It is not fast, still for City trafic its OK. Also highway speed till 130 km is ok, a bit to loud inside. You can drive any fiat 1.4 witch 95 hp and 16valves to compair the performance. Co pairing to renault 100 hp 3 cylinder engine (on my other movie) it is slower but needs no time to react. Renault is spining and after 2 second its accelerating (turbo).

@@CarRambler1 i think i will wait fornthe new 1.0 100hp turbo tipo. I know very well modern 1.0 direct fuel injected engines and they have a good performance with low noise and good fuel consumption if gentle on throttle. 1.4 95hp fire is a good engine but i am fed up of troubles overtaking o. Highway and no power on inclined roads just like 250000km on a 1.2 punto and 120000km on a 1.2 panda taught me. Excelent engines on simplicity and reliability but lacking on power.

Mam kombi Lounge z tym silnikiem i to jest straszna udręka dla tego auta. Niestety nie było już budżetu na t-jeta, ale w końcu to tylko 20 koni więcej, więc nie oczekiwałem także od t-jeta jakichś sprawnych osiągów. Optymalnym silnikiem dla tego auta było by jakieś 140-150 koni. Z drugiej strony nie jest to auto do zapierdalania, tylko zwykły dupowóz do sprawnego i nudnego przemieszczania się z punku A do punktu B. Ważne, że nowy z salonu na gwarancji, po nowym roku założę sobie instalację LPG i będzie można tym jeszcze trochę pojeździć. Jak za 65 tysięcy, to jest w porządku.

Sedan lżejszy od kombi i to chyba sporo. Poza tym ja go turlam tylko po mieście i mi tam wystarczy. Nie będę pisał że super itd ale i tak 3 cylindrowe kosiarki co mają po litrze pojemności i 100 koni objezdzam bez wysiłku.

@@protector1987 to faktycznie różnica żadna. Myślałem że jest ze 100 kg różnicy. Mój kosztował 42000 i to jest bardzo opłacalny zakup. 65000 km i na razie nic się nie działo. Nawet jeśli to ceny części do Fiata są zwykle małe. Taki turlać do miasta dla kogoś kto nie musi się dowartościowywać samochodem.

@@CarRambler1great going to buy a used tipo sedan 2017 with just 100.000 km. Good looking car and quite spacey on the inside. With the 1.4 FIRE 95hp engine, older tech on an older platform but I guess it should be quite reliable.

Good. Mine is close to 100 000 km now. There were no issues. Just a new alternator (old was loud on bearings) and battery. Some ppl say it takes oil. Mine does not have this issue...

No, i change it every 15000km and must not add anything. There are only 3 litres of Oil in this engine so its Good to check thenlevel from time to time... I thong it depends on how the engine was used at the begining. They clearly Say in the manuał that you schould use it gently in firs 1000 km.

i saw video of tipo with same 1.4 engine with 300 000 km. I didnt understand everything(Polish guy :D), but guy was changing oil every 15k km. He told that car started drain oil after 150t km, 1l to 15k oil interval. Now with 300k km its 2l in 15k interval, so its good. I want buy this car too, im waiting for facelift, and discount before-facelift models. Cars looks little but lazy, but on my test drive it was normal, like my old cars octavia2 1.6 75kw chevy aveo 1.4 74kw. Its shame, this is almost last clasic engine,hyundai i30 release facelift with 1.5engine, but price is higher like tipo

@@Martin-lh1ro This is Tipo Tipo so Basic vesion. I have it since new 4 yrs ago and it is enough for me. The only disadventage is that the driver seat cant be lowered so if you are not exacly 175 cm tall (I belive it is perfect high for Such a person) you schould pay extra for it. For City driving its Good, nothing broken down, no noises in the cabin etc. If you have any specific question u can ask me.

I had a Punto with the Same engine but 1.4 8v 74ps its Not the fastest engine but reliable as fuck the 8v was more Like a Diesel to Drive 50km/h and you can Shift into 5th Gear, No oil Consumption. flat Road 80-90km/h 4.5 Litre fuel Consumption sold the Punto at 230.000km had still the OEM Clutch at 45% changed timing belt at 150.000km was still as new now i Drive the 500l with the 1.4 16v 165.000km and still going.

Had a 8v Punto as previous car. 1.4 16v is same good but better cylinder head with automated exhaust valve adjustment and of course more power. Love this is still normal engine 1.4 litre 95hp no turbo. This will work good hopefully.

Zależy co komu potrzebne. Po mieście dla mnie wystarczy. A obecnie wśród tych 3 cylindrowych silniczków to rusza najdynamiczniej bo tam trzeba mocno kręcić żeby zaczęło jechać.

@@CarRambler1 Chciałem go kupić 3 lata temu, ale wziąłem w końcu swifta, bo jazda próbna mnie zniechęciła. Jakby mi zależało na czymś większym to może bym go wziął z tym 3 cylindrowcem jednak, bo mówią że się lepiej zbiera, a trochę mnie zdziwiło że 6 biegowe auto, 4-cylindrowe i prawie 100-konne tak słabo się zbiera. Zaletą jest wygląd zewn., dorównuje w/g mnie najlepszym markom.

W 2016 zapłaciłem za niego 41000 i to była cena nie do pobicia. Inne marki do wyboru w tej kwocie miały najmniejsze modele jak Toyota Aygo i podobne. Silnik znałem, bo miałem wcześniej 1.4 ale 8v (to był dopiero muł). Wersja 16v jest znacznie lepsza (min samo kasujące się luzy zaworowe) a jednocześnie podobnie trwała. Do tej pory 67tkm i wymieniłem tylko akumulator. Jedyne co denerwuje to nadwozie sedan, więcej takiego nie kupię. Niby kufer spory ale nic nie wchodzi. Co do silników 3 cylindrowych to nie jestem ich zwolennikiem. Chyba nie zdecydowałbym się już na zakup a na wynajem długoterminowy. Te silniki potrafią nie dojechać do 70 tkm, nie wyobrażam sobie takiego wydatku jak naprawa główna...

Pisząc o 3 cylindrach miałem na myśli to co się obecnie wyprawia na rynku. Niemal każdy producent (Fiat Tipo też) obecnie używa jakisnuturbionych 3 cylindrowych silników.

The engine is ok. The car is just not soundproof. Also windnoise Is to be heard. Specially the door seals are letting a lot of noise inside.
