I think it's absurd to decrease to 12 teams in the Women's Basketball World Cup. It's even a prejudice, because in men the number has been increased to 32! In times of inclusion (Women's Soccer, Men's and Women's Handball = 32 countries, Women's and Men's Volleyball = 24 teams in the world and Men's Soccer added 48 teams) only FIBA determines a decrease in the world to just a few 12 teams... !!!

Great game, and thanks for putting the full game online, but please FIBA commentators... practise your pronunciation of Japanese names before the game: Miyoshi (not MiYAshi), Tokashiki (not TokaSHI), Akaho (not AHAho, AKAIho or AkaYO), Mawuli (not MUli)

@@caotubee Yes, that's probably true. I did notice that Canada was missing some important players, too. I saw the list of candidates for the Japanese team, and it was encouraging to see that Manami Fujioka was playing pro basketball again, after a severe injury, and an early retirement. We'll see if she actually makes the team again..

Every height shorter team should learn a lot basketball skills from Japanese women team.constantly pesting your opponent.very tight defence.and shootings precise like shooting machines on 3 point, quick movement ,if not better than men. And very quick transit.passing balls.i am man, records were 14 none stop 3 points, never missed in my teenager basketball time.but coz my shooting style were like women style.from my chest when I shoot the ball from 3 points onward outside the line.my coach did not like that.so I was being sent off,not able to compete.but in reality,I have been always the best player in any team.passing, point guards, rebound, assists, all rounders, definitely similar to La brown James level.but coz my unique shooting style was different.coach never gave me any chance.but man!!I was a 3 pointer shooting machine at high peak.one step away, any tiny space from defender.then bingo,I could shoot from any where.i found women style shooting 3 points were very accurate and much more easier to control the strength when launching long distance points. So that hurts me a lot.then later grown up,I changed to men style, over the head, lots more over head jumping and shooting at the same time.my 3 points was never the same.it was still good.but accuracy dropped a lot more!! I wonder if anybody have the same experiences as me???
God will always love you no matter what, even if you don't believe, and anyone who is reading this if you would like to start to know God, but don't know what to say just say this: "God, thank you for this life and a heart beat. Please save me, I know You Love me! Thank You for loving me so Much that not only to let me know I am not alone, but that you loved me that much to die, Thank you. I want to continue to get to know you more. Let me see you more. In Jesus Name Name." have your Holy Spirit send peace. God is with you all ALWAYS! 💜💛❤
They are missing some big players in Nurse and Raincock-Ekunwe. New coaching staff. They will get better.

Well, it’s highly likely both teams will advance to the World Cup later this year, regardless of the outcome of this game. Also, it isn’t surprising that Japan won this game after taking second place in Tokyo last summer. They've risen quickly to become one of the best teams in the world.
☝️Japanese 🇯🇵players use their usual covert "unsportsmanlike" fouls It's against the meaning and purpose of sport itself It's disgusting👎👎👎👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
