I had a Clun Forest sample in a sheep breed study box that I'm spinning right now and I absolutely loved it! I fully agree that it's the perfect candidate for a long draw. Benridge Woolworks have it in stock and if I didn't struggle with storage space, I would immediately get a whole fleece!

Your description of the wool and how it spins is very similar to my experience of South Down sheep if you haven't tried that
