I do the "anti-inflammatory" diet. The exercises I do are designed for fibromyalgia sufferers. Yet I still have uncontrolled pain. With my migraines, Qulipta no longer worked and Ubrevly, I end up maxing out each 24 hours. I've tried the LD Naltraxone, there was no improvement. And the other therapies I had horrible side effects from. Even tried the mast cell protocol. So I am still seeking a bit of relief and looking for that one thing that will break the cycle. Yet I never thought about fibromyalgia being a comorbidity from my chronic migraines, which had gone untreated for almost a decade before I moved to a new state. And it makes sense that after have the pain receptors bombarded constantly, the brain become sensitized.

I currently use Nurtec ODT two 75mg which is the only medication that has ever worked for my chronic migraines. Poor sleep quality & insomnia are AGGRESSIVE triggers for my migraines, I frequently use ice packs on back of neck along with full face ice mask for mine while laying down in a very cool, very dark room, without disturbing smells, sounds, or light. A friend insists she can't use ice or cold pack, but does use heat instead. The medical professionals NEED to focus more on patients sleep & STOP PUSHING & OVER PRESCRIBING antidepressants that do NOT work, for ANY pain at ALL & have horrific side effects. Fibromyalgia patients are not crazy, just because the medical Community doesn't have a FULL picture of this PROGRESSIVE SYSTEMIC DISEASE effecting multiple body systems. Since age 12 lifelong battle along with Allodynia, chronic fatigue, Polymyalgia, IBS, Chronic Migraines.

@@Truerealism747 If your pain is constant everyday and it feels like you’ve been hit by a truck and even can’t go out because of flare-up. You have fibromyalgia. Neurologist says that fibromyalgia is a commorbidity of migraine. It’s a never ending pain. Better talk to a neurologist as well. Have MS as well. Been diagnosed last 2021. I will undergo MRI of brain and spine for this year to see any changes or if there is additional lesions. Hoping and praying for a good result.

Chronic migraine, cluster headaches, fibromyalgia- then nerve stim causing sepsis that nearly killed me & 'burned the telomers off your nerves'... now there's no treatment left. I will tell EVERY migraine patient to get a closer to the equator as possible! Doc mentioned a study-I did the homework- then went and tested the theory for nearly 2yrs (ended due to pandemic) IT HELPS SO MUCH! No they don't know why but if it works, and it's beautiful, at this point I don't care "why" as much!
