I did this show at a community theater back in the summer of 2000, and that's how I met the man who's now my husband. During this number, the director had the chorus coming up the aisle. We had to go down a short flight of steps in front of our orchestra pit, and he was supposed to help me down the steps, but during one matinee, he forgot, and I almost fell. Since then, whenever he's been helping me down some steps or whatever, he sings this. Also, that reminds me. My parents divorced when I was four, and whenever I'd spend a weekend with my dad and stepmother, I'd sometimes ask my dad what we were having for breakfast, and he'd start singing, "A little bit of this, a little bit of that..."
