I was lucky enough to spend my allowance in the Belmont Record Shop in Hartford, Connecticut and this cut from one of my albums is representative. As a high school age person in the 1960s, I loved this record. The Five MacDonald fiddlers had an amazing and wild sound that captivated me. Some of these tunes made their way into my own repertoire.
