YO! This is sick af! We gotta see more of this! You boys are killin it out there

Man, can't even tell you how much I appreciate the normal video title. Most videos of this type I seen are like "CHESS HUSTLER TRIED THIS AND THAT". Apparently everyone who plays chess in a park is a hustler, lol. Like, calm down, Cassidy.

YOUR CHANNEL NEEDS THIS!!! I hope you realize your sarcastic yet sharp narration is a real plus to your content! I’m sure after a couple of these posts your likes will reflect this! Let’s keep this up for a bit! Just a lil input! Very well done and I’m sure most of your viewers will agree!! Ps- I’m sure this would be a chore to do- but to display the clock time somehow would help with the overall feel. You have a fan base that vibes with you guys. Glad to see you step up things and make it more personable
@Life-Sky2 жыл бұрын
Yeah the sub battle commentary and the vibe from the brahs are the reason we are in, chess is just a plus.

Agreed awesome but yeah, clock and maybe an eval bar.
@danielmohring46102 жыл бұрын
@@brettjames9088 actually found it kinda refreshing, not seeing the evalbar. I am pretty sure that 99.99% of chessbrah's viewers can't comprehend moves the computer comes up with, when a GM doesn't see them. So imo as long as he explains his thought process as much as he did in this video, this is the perfect format for me. Clock is a bummer tho. And propably can be somewhat easily implemented with OCR
@brettjames90882 жыл бұрын
@@danielmohring4610 yeah fair enough. Personally like to see when a mistake has been made. It keeps the commentary honest, GM or otherwise.

I hope to see more of this type of content. You rarely see 'real chess' on youtube where you can actually follow what's going on (in non super-competitive setting).
@claudiomicheli38632 жыл бұрын
F*ing loved it! Crazy how with one move you just took advantage of his buildup and twisted the whole momentum of the game. I'm gonna remember this, beautiful
@sethchoate172 жыл бұрын
really cool to see aman gives his thoughts on an over the board game and give post-game insight into the logic behind his moves. makes me think of the "my first win against a grandmaster" video which i also thought was neat

This was just really relaxing to watch late at night, and the commentary complimented the already quiet and calm atmosphere of the park by implementing thoughtful and step-by-step instruction which was easy to follow along with some nice humor that felt like improv, which shows your talent as a chess content creator. You shared your thoughts during the game as honestly as possible, and it's good to know that sidelines help catch people off guard at all levels.
@Twas-RightHere2 жыл бұрын
My god I was like how the hell is he going to deal with this?? Then g4! Beautiful! More commentary like this would be super helpful, as it’s hard to know what you’re thinking about and why you’ve played certain moves in regular blitz games on the channel.

As informative and educational this video is, it is also really relaxing and calming in a way. Great watch, also kind of a great podcast quality narration that you can listen to while falling asleep.

This was beautiful to see, more like this please! I live in San Antonio and we have chess meet ups almost every day of the week. Either over coffee, over beer, with food, outside and inside, and good groups all around. One of the most enjoyable ways to play chess and learn!

Love these vids, I prefer seeing chess being played otb so it's good to see you do this more, your commentary is great and I like how you stick up ideas on the board it's a great format. One thing about the twirling of the pieces, my theory is that it's similar to why some buddhist monks will spin a prayer wheel, it's to maintain concentration. All meditation practices are some form of this, it's anchoring the mind in the present, as when we get too much in our heads that's when doubt and anxiety can kick in.
