Animating for an ad is very different from animating for a series or movie. Animation is *expensive and time consuming*, there's so many factors that you must weigh when making a full length series or a movie. Short animations like those simply do not have the same constraints as making a series or movie. Still, there should be a bigger push for animated stuff since that's where superhero media shines, but unfortunately the general public and executives just don't see animation as a serious medium.
