Hello, everyone! I hope you enjoyed the mini tour in this video from the city of Chicago. Do you happen to use a small memo book in your everyday essentials? Do you have a brand preference?

Definitely love using a pocket notebook for EDC, as my memory is terrible. I also recently changed jobs and working in a prison, I cannot have a phone inside the facility, so already having a pocket notebook system in place has helped me greatly to stay organized!! I recently signed up for both the Log & Jotter and Field Notes subscription services and they are both very cool. L&J is $5 a month and you get a new notebook each month, which is very neat. I agree with you on the aesthetics of Field Notes and their wide range of cool designs.

I like Word Notebooks. They're made in Chicago and have fun colors. Same size and similar quality to Field Notes

@@quartkneek3670 I have seen them before and tried to search for them recently, but the website seems defunct and all their listings on Amazon are showing "unavailable". Have u recently purchased some?

I bought my first three pack today. Hands down the best pocket notebook I've used yet. I drew in one while watching your video. The paper is smooth and handles gel ink VERY well. No ghosting or bleeding. So, yeah, I'm with you on this one.

A great video. I must admit I prefer the Age Bag series of notebooks, here in the UK, which can be found quite cheaply. Virtually identical in size, and pretty good paper for fountain pens. I'm always carrying some kind of notebook as an inbox.

I'll have to check out your notebook of choice! Glad to know there are some good pocket notebooks that can handle fountain pens 😁

Great video. The editing is spot on. I like the dot grid myself. Works well in both a horizontal or vertical orientation. I usually carry a sort cover pocket Moleskine but am enjoying field Notes as well.

Thank you, Jack! I haven't tried a pocket Moleskine yet. I might have to check it out some time 😁

Nobody going to mention Moleskine? They are my go-to brand. I don't like the way the Field Notes staples can rust, but solid notebooks otherwise.

Can you make a video about what you do with your Field Notes book after you fill it out. Do you go back to your bullet journal and put it in there?
@diggidan Жыл бұрын
Very nice video! The proffesionality of the edit does not correlate to the number of subscribers you have. There should be at least two digits more! Keep it up 💪

Field book although is made in china are less expensive and in my experience very durable for a cardboard notebook. Repellent to minor spills with a wipeoff. 5 pack for 10 as opposed to 3 for 14
@Balthazar2242 Жыл бұрын
There isn't much to review. It's very flat, it has a precise size (which may or may not be preferred by you), it's durable enough, and especially it has a certain style to the presentation which is fun. In terms of materials it's just paper. But it's the presentation that makes it exciting to use. You are invited to date and title it in the front cover, and it makes normal notes feel like you're some kind of explorer.
@ezbooknotes Жыл бұрын
Absolutely. It's what you make of it that makes this ordinary memo book special.
