I very much enjoyed this story. Thank you for the heart rendering scenes dealing with the illness and death of Mr. Bennet. It was tender with feeling and reverence. It’s stirred tender memories for me. I love the ending. Well done!

I loved it…so different from any other variation subjects. As a farm girl myself this meant a lot to me. Mr Darcy was so kind and supportive and we didn’t have to put up with Wickham, Lady Katherine or Mr Collins very much. (Of course they are important to the original story). I listen till 4:30 AM,! but slept in. It was worth it for a new wonderful story! ❣ Great narration too, as usual from Zimmerman!!!

What a wonderful exploration of a woman's place in a different time. Elizabeth steps up to work with her ailing father and earned respect from those who learned her dedication first hand. Then to lose everything when her father dies... it's like Cinderella after a glimpse of how differently glorious life could be. Very heart wrenching! Eye opener. Thanks for sharing this wonderful variation. Elizabeth is truly a heroic character.
