Rather the theme of Dragon Ball GT was composed by Izumi Sakai the girl who was from the band Zard, for her Field Of View adapted the song for the anime because that theme was needed for the series

I wouldn't have honestly loved Yu-Gi-Oh if it wasn't for Season 0. Season 0 had THIS banger as an opening and THAT banger as an ending. Who would want more!? Going into DM after S0 was weird, but I don't regret it

I loved DM I just wish they had more of the horror and shadow games of season 0 would have loved to see more of the development of Atem from his zorc corrupted memory lost version to the Pharaoh we all loved, that and games other than yugioh, not everyone would have played yugioh let them come up with some weird and dangerous games like in season 0 duel spirits didn’t play yugioh till after it’s widespread inception in the modern day so what other horrors did they dream up in the dimensions they come from

I’ve never watched season 0. Grew up with DM. But this song in itself made me desperate to watch it and I absolutely will now. It’s crazy cuz I’ve never heard the song truly except from Little Kuriboh but this still somehow feels so nostalgic. Maybe bc the band sang for Dragon Ball? Unsure but damn this is a bop

It was a good artist decision by Kazuki Takahashi to give Yugi leather to wear as his signature look. While Yugi rocks that buttoned up shirt as this manga panel portrays his with, leather just compliments him.

I just watched through season 0 with a friend recently, and wow the characterizations and writing and dialogue is leagues above DM in my opinion, things feel serious when they should most of the time, and Joey/Jonouchi is an actual character. Same with Honda/Tristan, at least more than in DM. Anzu/Tea is a completely different person, genuinely competent and carries a lot
