Love it. Great and practical kit. I like having zip ties and small hose clamps on me as well.

I like leather thimbles because they store flat. Very handy pushing through thick tough material.

Nice kit, I would add a small piece or two of sanding paper, for prepping surfaces before glueing, useful also to sharpen a knife or tool in a pinch...

I'd probably condense the sewing kit into one kit, and maybe a single needle and thread somewhere else. I'd also recommend using something more useful to wrap stuff around. The cardboard is bulky and doesn't have much use outside of tinder.

Maybe add a few alcohol swabs to your kit. This will help degrease plastics, vynals, rubber etc. so the glue and vynal patches stick better.

nice kit - you've put some thought into it. I'd add a boxcutter, a couple wetnaps and a small tube of neosporin as you've got the makings of a good field first aid kit. e z to get carried away a - little gauze, some folding money, alcohol wipes . . .

@priority19 I broke a clip on a pack strap years ago. had to seriously rig the thing up. REI made a spare kit that I thought was too $$$ but I spent way more putting a kit of my own together. if I tried today the cost would be less
