Nice! Never occurred to me to have a transom and still be able to use the rod holders! Gonna revisit mine. Thanks!

There's a video out there showing how to build the transom unit I made. It works real well, but if you really study its design there are lots of ways to modify it to be better. Maybe if you end up making a new transom you can post a video?

Awesome video man. My kayak is the lifetime Yukon 116. IMO a damn good budget kayak. At the moment I have installed a Lowrance Unit and some seat risers. In the near future, maybe next weekend I’ll be adding my trolling motor. That’s it lol!! Love kayak fishing love watching kayaking videos!! Keep em coming man! I hit that button

I just got into kayaking and that's the exact same one that I just got! I love the way you got that little trolling motor mounted I'm curious having it amounted to one side does it tend to push you to the side when you're using it?

Hi Trevor. Actually it tracks pretty straight. It handles quite well when powered with a troller. As a matter of fact I don't really notice it leaning toward the side with the motor as you might expect from the weight. It really works great. Thanks for watching!
