In this video Lauren and I sit tight in a patch of woodland in search for our tea. Thankfully our waiting paid off and we were rewarded with two lovely wood pigeons. We then breasted them and cooked them up ready for a different but tasty pizza topping.

Chef here. Just getting back into shooting. I used to shoot targets as a kid. And have recently got back into a bit of target shooting. Where do you find land to shoot game? Great channel! Ive been a chef for 20 years. And work on private yachts now. I like your fast field prepping of small game. You should look into hanging and maturing. Theres so much scope with game. As an apprentice I worked in a posh private members club in London. We cooked a lot of game in the shooting season, its amazing how good rabbit, hare, pheasant, partridge, quail can be with a bit of know how. Ageing, marinades, larding,barding, stuffing. Even some modern techniques work well with game. But cooking game has almost been forgotten in modern cookery. its good to see a shooting channel bring in a bit of cookery. Yeah they reversed that soon after mate, still technically not allowed to to it just for food but this was also pest control see ;)

I got my air rifles but i can t go to shooting range cause they are closed So how i can do to use my air rifle in any field just for target practice? I am allow to go anywhere where i want? For example where trespassings are never walking there Where i can go then?

You can go pretty much anywhere so long as you have the land owners permission. If you do not have permission you’ll find yourself facing armed police and some prison time

Looks like that might taste pretty good actually,.. but around here if I mentioned this type of meat I would get a very different reply. Any pigeons we have and see around here are just " sky rats' according to most folks, as they feed on anything but fresh grain and seeds.

We didn’t have a rolling pin 🤣 and the blow your head is the Japanese way as generally the don’t use ovens :)
