Love that place… Annual membership is well worth the price, great year round events, lots of beautiful plants to been seen. Lots of good plant nurseries in the surrounding area too.

We were there last year… early and found a jackfruit full of fruit flies… it was the best jack fruit I have ever had. Also lots of miracle fruit… alas, no durians

Awesome. I have been there years ago but missed the severity of damage it went through. A little closer to you is Constitution Park & Arboretum. It has quite a few tropical fruit trees as well. Keep up the great work. You're an inspiration!

Where is Mr. Chris Rollins now? I know he is retired. But is he giving lectures and classes like he used to in the past? He is such a great guy with a wealth of knowledge as a Naturalist and Horticulterist.

The website says the cafe is closed. "The Mango Café is Closed for Renovations " and it won't open until 2027.

Thanks for the info! We didn't realize that it was closed for that long...big mistake on our part

@@TrulyTropical No problem. I am so enjoying your videos. I live in Miami and I think that when I retire I want to buy a small house on a generous piece of land. I want to get out of the city so very much.
