Vulcanite bottle-stopper with a dent in the top = 1945 or so, reducing the amount of materials used! - - 9.20 - looks like a Shippams paste jar- - - -

Yes, those indented wartime Vulcanite bottle stoppers were intentionally made with the "dent" in the middle to be able to save rubber for the "warmachine". Everyone was trying to do their bit.
