Its surreal having watched your boy grow into a man while keeping up with you on KZbin. I always love watching your content. While the tannin in your water kind of weirds me out, i would absolutely love to accompany you on a gold finding trip. Not to mention visiting your country. My sis has visited twice but i dont know anyone there so its not exactly been near the top of my list to visit. I often wonder why so many people find the need to tell the world how many issues and problems they have in life, such as mobility issues and age, and btw, 70 isn't old at all if you had taken care of yourself throughout life...why do we need to know that...does it make you feel better somehow...??? I see it in the comments of every outdoor-type video, tons of people just want to tell the world how miserable they are. Just watch the darn video and like it, the personal stuff is a bit much. Anyway, hang in there. Cheers.

@stardusted1 hey, you might be suprised but there are "paydirt" boxes out there for purchase. You can pan that dirt by hand and find some gold yourself, no need to be very mobile for some panning over the bathtub. Of course you wont get more worth of gold than you pay for the paydirt, but you can have some fun. All you need is paydirt and a goldpan.

@@lbj4993 It's just a side note. It also means you have to take your chances in life. As far as looking after yourself, you can get in some accident and suddenly you can't do the adventure stuff. Also, it's a comments section so we can comment exactly how we feel. This ties back to watching sport or diving for gold. How many people are actually going to dive into rivers after watching this? It's great content, so feel free to comment about how it's inspiring you to do whatever.

​@@lbj4993I think you're looking at it the wrong way. They're saying how much they appreciate channels and videos like this one that take us along to places we'll most likely never get to visit. It's like if you're already well off and someone gives you money you might thank them and appreciate it, but if you were starving and broke and worried about paying bills or feeding your family you might get emotional and tell the person just how much more you appreciate them and how they helped you out more than they expected. It's not meant to make other commenters feel bad or themselves feel good, it's to tell the people making the video that there work is helping people in ways they might not have imagined.

Not really at all. Longform is far superior in terms of profitabilit. Shorts are extremely unprofitable. How can you run ads on shorts?

Longform pays more per individual view but with KZbin pushing shortform so heavily, you accrue more views from those and in turn earn more. Personally I much prefer longform as previously stated.
