Love your channel. I was born in Morris and lived as a baby a year in Handcock. My uncles farmed Handcock for decades as well. Page lake was named for my great grandfather so my blood runs deep for west central MN. Love hearing you talk about your home and mine keep it going sir farmers rule and feed the world!

I've seen those rollers in the dealer yards around Moorhead. Now I know what they're for. Thanks.

Learned some more. I see those rollers around here but never knew what their purpose was. Thanks again. Really enjoy your content!

+MN Millennial Farmer tbh you are better than how farms work bc you have bigger equipment annd more land keep it up
@MillennialFarmer8 жыл бұрын
+Raylon Thank you! Honestly for me it's not about bigger equipment or more land. It's just about helping people understand what we (farmers) do and trying to communicate with consumers about what goes on out on the farms.

love your videos here at our farm in SA we do the no till thing and works very good wonder how much the bushels per hectare would go up if you guys could've do no till if the ground was right but keep it up love the videos we also have some weed that build up resistant to roundup but we upgraded the nozzles to a more misty spray so now we got control over it. but here and there the sections don't turn on on time so we also have those spots that you have wich we come back later and spray with other chemical things.

I spent a few weeks working for a farmer as a teenager picking rocks by hand. Some needed a chain to pull then out. Couple the size of arm chairs surprising what hides under the surface isn't it. Hard labour by hand. Glad i never did that again lol

Have been watching many of your videos now, and I am very thankful for all the educational entertainment! Have one question tho, are you friend with your red-vehicle neighbor? I'm no farmer, but seems like there are some "fighting" between Case and JD lovers, haha :D Keep up the great work and video content, with best regards from Norway!

koreanjeep ha! Yes, we're good friends. The 'fighting' is usually just online!

Interesting that the line between your field and the neighbors is almost non-existent. In my state there is usually a canal , creek or road between any fields, even fields with the same owners.
@KrisHall79973 жыл бұрын
Man how'd your neighbor take his field I've never seen machinery that color before, is it even machinery? I wonder if it was some kind of homemade invention?

how long does it take for corn to germinate like 5 or 7 days
@MillennialFarmer8 жыл бұрын
That's extremely dependent on soil moisture and temperature but 3-4 days is not uncommon in warm conditions.
