My Ancient Goth azz ALWAYS loved this band! We all ought push this band heavily, IMO! Thanks 120 Minutes on MTV in '86! Almost sacred music, circa 2024.

I'm sure I've got a first generation copy of this on VHS in the loft. 🤞 I remember staying up at stupid o'clock to hit the record button 😉

Brilliant, yeah I did the same and still have it, though my copy is missing the first 20-30 seconds.. the time it took me to run downstairs and press record as I watched club x but didn’t know they were appearing!

These guys are fucking awesome,i just keep recommending them to my metal buddies because their music is really obscure and heavy and their lyrics constantly deal with the occult.Recently Nergal from Behemoth joined them onstage so I hope that opens the door to a younger audience.

Adding to this dark and light topic. I ask this question to all, What is seen when light is cast upon any figure? It is the darkness of the shadow that lurks behind us all. Light and dark are equals. Not to mention, you can see what is in the light best while standing in the shadows.

I always wonder why the cameramen ignored Tony in this video. Regardless, it's a fantastic performance (albeit not a bootleg, but a British TV broadcast).

@Maliaariadne in response to this, when you step into the light you become a light for everyone . . . also, the brightness of the stars can only be seen at night, such it is with the Lord, when you admit your sin and degradation, His love and mercy and grace, shine like stars. Have a good life!

@stauvin If I said Satan is real, it's because he is a manifestation of us. Satan doesn't kill, God Kills! We are God. We cannot possibly begin to comprehend God. We are mere mortals.
@PennyDreadful114 жыл бұрын
@stauvin Couldnt it be that man was the first animal to evolve into a being with a mind strong enough to grasp the concept of god and was therefore chosen. That evolution was really a test. Nah believe what you want.
@gyqz14 жыл бұрын
No...because the dark blacks out the darkness.....You need light to recognise darkness!!! :-)

@shadamedaffas I thinks it is necessary to refute religious principles (with the knowledge man has ascertained in pursuit of scientific rationale) when fanatics attempt to impose their will on the masses. Likewise for communistic regimes in regard to atheism. When it get's to the point where reason is abandoned for dogma and it leads to varying degrees of infringement upon our individual liberties we must ask ourselves: "is this God's will, or is this man's will? "
@gordongate14 жыл бұрын
@stauvin try reading the bits the council of nicea removed in order to keep you ignorant of the proper message and to maintain the church's control and power over the likes of the weak minded and unquestioning. read the Pistis Sophia, then you'll learn more about why the gnostic christians were feared by the holy roman empire,

@stauvin But chimps are noble creatures! And what if we are animals too and related to them. Does that go against the existence of god? I dont think so. You cant seriously take everything in the bible literally right? I mean its mythology(symbolic stories). And god didnt write it by itself! People did.
@stauvin14 жыл бұрын
@PennyDreadful1 I like your theory but again it's shooting in the dark . . . the number one reason I believe the Bible is that I read it, and found it to be true. The deepest, most important understandings you have are confirmed and felt in your heart. Right and wrong. Love from those close . . . give the Lord and chance and if you find it to be true, then throw yourself in faith on Him and then I wont sound like such a complete idiot.
@Triplezero1399913 жыл бұрын
@shadamedaffas God is too complex for the human mind to conceive. This universe is so vast and mysterious it could not be possibly explained through text written by man 2000 years ago. The idea of Satan is something man has created, it is a tool of fear and of conformity, and not some separate entity. Satan is within us because he represents our undesirable, and destructive tendencies.

if the bible is Man's interpretation of the word of God, then isn't it flawed?/ Man was not created a perfect creature. it is innevitable that we make mistakes but i think the true meaning of the bible has been lost in translation over many thousands of years of propaganda. im not saying that i agree with the ideas of Christianity, but i also find it difficult to believe that the existence of Human life is an accident. Heaven is what you make of it.
@stauvin14 жыл бұрын
@Triplezero13999 Ahahahahh. Lots of cursing. Satan doesn't kill in the name of God. He's a liar("surely God doesn't love you, can't save you, doesn't care about you, etc . . .) Satan is a peverter. You talk of Satan as if he is real, you know he is because of the existence of evil, but how would you recognize evil if not for the moral law written on your heart by the creator, or do you sit and pensively consider this with your ancestor the chimp?
