Copper is pretty toxic stuff which is why they cover the bottom of boats with it.

@rogersmith That is simply not true. Copper is a metal which the human body needs in trace amounts (and deficit of copper will cause health issues, although copper, just like anything else including water, is toxic if one ingests too much of it) unlike lead which actually is a toxic heavy metal and is harmful even in the smallest amounts.
