Totally #spare . Baby Plum is freaking adorable, and Isaac needs all the friends he can get in that hellhole. It's also pretty good at wrecking whole rooms and making boss fights a lot shorter, ESPECIALLY if you got the Battery.

@@lilith3133 Ah yes, because there's nothing I'd rather have than temporary Brimstone when the same item pool can give it permanently. Granted, it's still better than Shoop da Whoop, I guess. To be honest, given the option I'd rather take the Book of Belial. And for other characters there's always the Pocket Actives mod so you actually have a reason to pick up other actives.

#spare Plum more often than not. It's the choice between a guaranteed-to-be-decent active item or a wild range of "will this be useful at all?" boss pool items. Exceptions are if I already have a better active (which is rare, considering it's an early floor boss, and even rarer since I got the pocket actives mod) or if I have an item that deals passive damage (e.g. an orbital or something that deals damage on being hit, even creep). It becomes exponentially harder to do zero damage to Plum for the full time needed if I have even the chance of passive damage, so I usually won't bother.
