This is a full build video of a Tamiya 1/48 scale model kit (ID 61052) of the Fieseler Fi-103 V-1 bomb, and the Special Hobby 1/48 scale model kit (ID SH48190) of the Fieseler Fi 103 A-1/Re-4 Reichenberg variant .
This was a combo build, as initially the plan was to scratchbuild a cockpit into the Tamiya version, but I then decided to have two variants, with different camouflages and dollys.
The Tamiya quality of the kit is unparallel, while the Special Hobby kit needed corrections all the way. Overall, this was a simple build, where I wanted to test my skills on german WWII camouflage patterns.
My skills with the airbrush were not great, but this is how you learn and evolve.
The good:
Dolly scratch build
Simple build
The bad:
Camo pattern not great, specially in the special hobby version
Rust effect too strong on the scratch-built dolly
Special Hobby decal and mould quality
