Such expertise and dedication got her better..of course a lot depended on Fiesta too..but l think she felt so crummy in the beginning she was too poorly to put up a fight..if I'm honest l wasn't sure if she would be able to get better. That hind leg was a long time not being used.. but when you actually saw the depth of that wound, you realised it was right in the muscle.. but all that hard work and l will admit l cried 😢when she was prancing about in the field with her tricolour mane flowing ..it was just wonderful..a lot of rescues probably wouldn't have been able to do this but the fact that Dr Lydia was overseeing it and the experience of Kimberly did the job..so pleased she made a full recovery and got her forever home..hopefully with very high fencing..🇬🇧💕👍🙏✝️👏🐎🇺🇸

I currently have wounds that get the same treatments as this very fortunate young horse got! If it's good enough for Fiesta then they must be good enough for me. Chlorhex, silvadene(sp) and dermaplast are wonderful. Fiesta got tamer by the day with her healing. Wonderful.

Whew - what a recovery. So glad she healed smoothly with your angleic hearts and hands to guide her. I wonder why the pony kicked like that; perhaps a dog would be better company if another horse needs to be quaranteened in the future. As soon as I saw the pony, I thought, "oh..." Happy to know she found a knowledgable horse person to give her a home. Follow-up would be fine to see. Thank you for all you do.

Man horses act like they pay the vet bills. I watched as my mare reared up and got her leg caught in the fence. She tore the fur off a good chunk. $700 later and she's fully healed.
