If you're worrying the engine light might appear, it wont. With induction kits, the MAF sensor is self learning. But when you modify your car especially parts related to the engine ie. Exhaust, induction kits etc, then a remap is always a good idea.

James Brydon thanks for the support pal I appreciate it, I’ve had a 1 litre and yes the induction kits do make a difference! Pair it with a recirc valve and you’ll get lovely noises, yes the hose would replace the original black one. In order to get to most noise from the 1 litre you’ll want silicone hosing 👍🏻 hope that helps 😁

Bought one of these for my fiesta st 180, and it feels slower once fitted any reason why? Was yours ok?

That can happen it’s rare but does occur it can be fixed with a map but it’s basically your ecu accounting for extra air in a weird way, if say give it a couple days see if the ecu learns, if not try forums on Facebook see if anybody’s learnt of any fixes 💪🏼

Cheers for the advice mate!! Much appreciated, so any map from any company should be the solution?only fitted this today but been out a couple of times and it's seems like it's got 100BHP rather then 190 or so lol gutless.

Don't know if you got this sorted out, but with mine i had the plastic pipe on the wrong way round, so the MAF sensor was backwards. Exact same problem

Conor just tried to fit mine today, seemed like the maf sensor didn’t sit flush on the pipe?? Turned it on and just died straight away, resorted back to the standard air box and no problems. Going to contact ceuk but any thoughts on why it didn’t run?
