One tip: The L2 + R2 dribbling can be used to absolutely fool your opponent. When running down the wing with a pacey player, use the l2R2 dribble to cut inside and then move quickly back outside. Most likely, the opponet will try to follow your cut inside, but by the time he starts doing that, you are already on the outside.

PatrichHDxGaming thanks for your videos! I have a question about dribbling, though. L1 or LB for me, on Classic, is the button I use to switch players. I'm trying to learn how to actually dribble, so my question is won't L1/LB switch my player instead of actually dribbling the ball? Thanks!

Is there an updated dribbling tutorial? This is just basic functions. I'm looking for a tutorial on dribbling that will actually be useful when playing online. When playing online you have to be elite and have to know how to dribble so that the ball doesn't get stolen from you constantly. You have to know more than just what button does what.

No, its not possible to change the player when you are driving the ball. The RB will change the player if you are defending.

I'm pretty sure you have to do it manually. On xbox, when the other team is about to go for an overhead pass, click LB to switch yourself to one of the back defenders, hold RT to sprint back, and then hold A (Auto defense) to contain the ball.
