As a mainly career mode player, I would say FIFA 21 is the best career mode in years (still not as good feature wise as say FIFA 10) but they've done a lot of improvements, sure it isn't perfect, there's a lot of things they haven't done for example there's still a maximum of 15 years you can reach (unless you have pc mods), the fact that visual sim only has one speed and can sometimes take ages to get through, the fact you still can't have things like staff which FIFA 2005 had! But with what they've implemented this year, along with the already established features, they've actually done a decent job this year (and I'm not biased that you can finally have Welsh regens xD) Conclusion - for Career mode at least, FIFA 21 is much better (and I recommend getting the PC version so you can mod the game, unless you are planning to play Ultimate Team then maybe a console is still best), Unless you have a Nintendo Switch, then, don't get either.

Hey guys, I would like to share my experience with you. I played fifa 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21 on PC, Xbox and PS4. The best Fifa was 17 on all platforms. Once again this is my opinion. The reason that Fifa 17 is my choice because is like in the middle of all generations between 12 - 21 and with less problems. My opinion is with all those games that the games are same with better graphics. I would prefer playing fifa for more than a year. The reason I am saying this is because when I creat a team I would like it to grow but when the next generation game is out most of the players switch to it and you can't play with others as they moved to the next generation.

Honestly LT is literally the same thing as Holding A in fifa on defense. That shit is annoying when you do a skill an they guess the wrong way but are able to either steal the ball or come right back into play. They scream manual defending but it’s really not. The only button you should have on defense is the steal button. With all that plus unrealistic goals an constant rebounds on defense are reasons why fifa just isn’t playable anymore🤦🏾‍♂️

Much better. The visual sim is a great addition, player development feels more natural, the training system is also an improvement together with match sharpness.
