Not only that. 7 defenders getting in the box to cover the shot. You dribble round 3 and the first one comes back round. You have to score sweats or dodgy corner headers. Its ridiculous. Cant just have a fun open game anymore unless you're in div 7-3 of rivals

I just completed the weekend league with my English team. Only faced one English team and they had the new Palmer card, Red Bellingham, Saka, Walker and Gomez. The game is to the point we’re it’s so sweaty they should have released that card as the friendly objective instead. Finished on 11 wins and bottled the last 4 games for that one more win 😢

As for the meta, it sucks EA hasn't nerfed crosses and headers, also sucks they gave a pro the option to pick Drogba....but at the same time community has to be held accountable too. The community could just stop playing the current meta. But wont bc its effective and effective is better than doing things that take skill. Thats why a meta is a meta. The easiest way to obtain success will always be whats meta in any game. Everyone is seemingly complaining about the meta but yet we're all playing against the meta, the math ain't mathing. My tin hat conspiracy theory: EA made it so that the most effective way to play is going by the sidelines/ bylines, so we get we see more of the adds on the side boards. I don't truly believe this😅 but, it is weird how much advertisement is in game, from companies like pespi, Uber eats, Gatorade and many, many more... Do you pretty much have to use ball roll for incisive pass ? I always see the gap that I can use incisive pass but when I’m not doing ball roll seem like ball always get block by defender every time. Thanks for your suggestions

They stealth nerfed tf out of incisive pass so indeed ball roll gives the pass a better chance of success due to the preceding animation not finishing yet. When you do it normally it literally homes into the opponent defender as compared to pinged passes.

I honestly can see myself Playing UFL next. It’s free, I think ea fc 24 gameplay is horrid right now. It’s actually in the worst state ever and I don’t think it can be fixed if playstyles are a thing. It actually makes it breaks a card. Don’t have first touch plus good luck. The daily 85+ you can do, givesout nothing (As intended), and drains your cards as ... Intended. I stopped opening packs. Again. Cya next promo.. or something... :) And yes, the game is shit compared to last year, and I only just started last year. And about giving tall players an advantage in the air, well, guess what, they already have that from being taller than most. The playstyles just makes it stupid, and has broken the game.
