I am getting better at getting to both Mass and adoration/benediction as well as confession. My anxiety is getting better and my seizures have not happened in almost 2 years now. That's from the prayer and the virtual pew. I appreciate the homily today, because of Father saying that he likes sports that encourage staying in your own lane and self-growth, not the ones where others try to throw you off or push you into falling off course. It's bizarre to me that people aren't interested in these types of teachings. If I'd have been introduced to a decent church as a teen I'd probably have been into it. There are a lot of strange services in existence. I got dragged to one where they had a full on production crew, money prayers, and a celebrity selling some project. You may not realize it, but you agree with Satan. Why would I ever even listen to you? Mary is my Heavenly Mother, and I love her. She was worthy to bear our Lord Jesus Christ. MIRACLE WITH THE BELLS: (Another comment said thank you for adding the bells back.) At a weekday mass at my church right when the host was raised someone's phone went off. It sounded just like the Bells. After Mass I told the man I loved it-- the timing was perfect. He said the thing is, his phone was turned off; He has no idea how that happened. I told the priest and he brought back the Bells. COOL!!!! Love you Father Mike!!!

I pray the rapture is soon. Jesus save me. I will never stop praying. Lord please change my life for the better. Thank you Jesus for never leaving my side, because everyone else has! Jesus! I PRAISE you! Even as I’m struggling providing for my children. I feel like a failure but I will keep faith because faith is all I have left! Since covid I can’t seem to get back on my feet. I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I declined due to my health conditions. I suffer from lupus, and heart disease. I’m now waitressing and so thankful to be working but I’m not making nearly enough to get by. I have two beautiful boys both are autistic. I’m overwhelmed because they require so much from me. Every month is a struggle to not end up on the streets with my boys. I’m struggling buying groceries I’m so discouraged. Jesus hear my cries I’m so tired. But I have faith! Jesus hear my prayers. ❤

That first prayer after the homily really set home inside of me because I've been praying for someone who said she isn't religious. "That all Christians will share the message of the gospel, with all its radical demands, while showing respect to the beliefs of others." I watch mass with Father each week because I moved to Korea, and we only have English mass the first Saturday each month at my local Catholic church. I feel this deep sorrow for the amount of people in Korea who do not know Jesus. Each Easter I prepare some chocolates for my co-workers, and the amount who do not know about Easter saddens me. I have a new co-worker I had been pursuing, but last week she revealed that she was not religious after I shared with her one of the prayers I had written for her. I pray for her everyday to find curiousity and come to Jesus through being reminded about my prayer for her and witnessing how I act with integrity through the power of the Holy Spirit. I pray for Jesus to use my sharing of my prayer for her as the bread and loaves to bring her to know and seek a relationship with our Lord.

Minute 21 is exactly where I'm at with the devil defeating me with discouragement. I've given up trying because I'm tired of failing, tired of letting ppl down, tired of letting myself down, tired of hoping I can be better. Most of all, tired of disrespecting Jesus sacrifice and hurting the Lord. These days I hope to one day hope again

Hello there. I also struggled trying to be perfect, the moment I started to grasp the reality of the faith when I decided to examine the word of God. He does answer our prayers, and we shouldn’t be overtaken by fear when we realize that we fail him. We just have to strive on his path. Jesus was aware that we’d fail at times when trying to reciprocate our love for him, and that’s why he taught us to seek our daily bread from God, and to ask for forgiveness and to forgive. He foreknew we would continue to fall into sin and thus need his grace every day. A priest told me that the fact that you are moved is already a sign that God is at work in you. I’m far from knowing much, but I wish the peace of God to be with you.

I've recently discovered a wonderful tool to defeat Satan. If there's any way you can get the book called Unbound by Neal Lozano. The walks you through you have to totally forgive people ask God to forgive you for serious sin and be willing to change. It teaches you to say prayers to rebuke Satan. In a nutshell you can ask God to forgive you your sins, ask God to rebuke Satan, say you renounce Satan in the name of Jesus ask God to fill you with his holy spirit. Don't get discouraged.

Solzhenitsyn hm, I'm a fan of Bulgakov :D Solzhenitsyn could write a lot of right words, but it is said that the book that converted the most Russians to Christ was not one of his books, but The Master and Margarita, which is absolutely insane book about devil by Bulgakov. He was not a real Christian or a very positive person, but his book had such a strange effect.

I've done that too, walked out of a boardgame for, oddly enough, the same reason. Anyways, the Elohim of El, in Genesis, are the ones who built the Garden of Eden. You have to lay out both the creation stories, one on top the other, according to the alignment of events, in order to see that the earth was already fully created when Adam and Eve moved into the garden and were given everything by the false deity (this is how/why Cain was able to encounter other ppl in his troubles whereas it otherwise is not and has not been explained). Mathew echoes this story when Satan offers Christ all the Kingdoms of the world. To be given the small number of kingdoms that existed at that time was equivalent to being given a small patch of garden in an abundant world. Our worldview is so small we think a tiny bit is a big deal, we think a box of boarders makes the world go round, we think a wall worth wailing over. When you come to begin to see the lies Satan laid from the beginning of the stories, you are then able to see the errors humanity continues to make in regard to sex, love, rules, law, etc. These errors influence and shape much strife and maintain that veil you are talking about. El is not our god.

I'm also thinking about cutting my hair at least ten centimeters, I have no patience for it anymore. My hair was a meter long, then I shortened it by 60 cm and I want to go 10 less. The shorter the hair, the less of a fetish it is, which is liberating. I've also completely cut out alcohol (not that I ever drink much) and beef and pork and more or less chicken and fish - but as I say, I'm an incompetent vegetarian because a day or two of a completely vegan diet and I start to faint. I think that the question of vegetarianism completely misses the question of genetics. Indians can feed their toddlers with legumes, a European child will not benefit. The Japanese make good use of algaes, the Europeans don't either, but they process milk better. I have Mongolian genes and they were, as we know, shepherds. I think, I would need at least some fish here and there

Not a lack of protein either, I have a lot of protein in my diet including hydrolyzed rice protein. It's more that plant and incomplete proteins need more energy to use and my body can't handle it

I have a question, where in the bible does it say that contraception and IVF is a sin. I am a Catholic but i struggle to coming to terms with this. I understand that abuse of both concepts is bad but in situations where someone is not able to conceive without science hence, IVF and in cases of Family planning, i think both concepts are necessary

I struggle with this too. And Ive only recently started reading my Bible so idk that it does say anything specific on this but I don't think it would since IVF is a modern technology that didn't exist back then. From what I've got so far, one of the big problems with IVF is the ethics in the practice. Editing genes, kind of purifying your line. Like Hitler was trying to do. Also apparently a lot of the embryos aren't "used", left frozen. There's a lot of potential for evil things to be done with embryos, even if the parents themselves aren't aware. Many evil things are done in the "name" of science, like using aborted fetal cells in certain "medications" also Christians recognize God as the creator of life, not us. Children are a gift, and nobody is entitled to a gift. There are stories of infertile woman in the bible. Rather than trying to force a life into existence, like it is now possible with IVF, the cross of infertility was accepted. Contraception and NFP, sound like the same thing to me. Except that contraception is a more physical barrier to prevent pregnancy and a women gains knowledge about her body and health with NFP. I've heard Catholics talk about NFP being a tool that can be abused since it is just as effective as birth control if you know what your doing. In marriage prep classes we took, they required taking an NFP course, and the teaching couple had spaced out their pregnancies to what they had wanted as what they saw fit. Which to me sounds no different than using a contraceptive. The more practicing Catholics seem to use more discernment with NFP and are much more open to having however many kids God intends for them, they don't use to to space out their pregnancies to have the perfect number and timing, but rather really discern their situation. Maybe a spouse is chronically ill, dealing with cancer, or financially barely able to afford maintaining their current family needs. Its those situations they use NFP, and it's less "abused" that way as they place more trust in God and him providing.

This is like when I was on the George Washington Bridge; and stuck in traffic; and my brother knows I have; a gift to find the path. We were very late for church; an dhe had to preach. I told him get off the bridge; and turn left and right; and I said: I don't know what to do next. He put his head out the window to look for signs; and there was the sign to get onto another bridge; the Whitestone Bridge; and we got on to that bridge and arrived in church in time.
