God took my mom home on Friday and I am thankful and grateful that He gave her to us for 92 years. She was the most loving and caring woman and I could not have had a more wonderful mother. She gave her life for us, her 9 children.....

God bless Fr. Mike! He is truly inspired by the Holy Spirit with his weekly homiles. Although I attend Church regularly, I look forward to his interpretation of the scriptures and gospel. I have difficulty understanding sometimes scripture but Fr Mike makes it easy to make sense of the readings. St Michael, PLEASE protect Fr. Mike and all priests from the evil one so they can continue to do your willl. Our priests are especially targets for the devil and his demons who do not tire of trying to destroy the Catholic Church. May they be covered under Mary’s mantle. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO!

Dear Father. You have blessed me and recharge weekly when I hear your Mass on Sundays. I go to the anticipated Mass Saturdays after in a nearby church just bear my Work and Still attend your Mass on Sundays. I love to hear your Homily for it embedded in my thoughts and being and all your examples is what I am experiencing as if you're talking to me. I am going to a lot of challenges and in a new environment , workplace and people around me. A very long story . And one day, if God permits I wish to attend your Mass in person. And thank you personally. When I pray to my Our Father at your online Mass I feel the words to my soul. Thank you and more Power to you with the Holy Spirit

Thank , Fr. Mike! I realized during the homily that God gave me the greatest gift, and has now taken it away. My children are 30 and 25, and I now have a son in law and a 4 year old grandson, I praise the Lord for the ability and capacity to have carried and raised two of the most precious blessings, and for his wisdom, forgiveness and love, because I did the best I could, and know that at times I fell short, but God has always been there to help me and get me through the hard times that being a loving parent can bring, Anyway, God loaned me the miracle of being able to have childen, and now that I am in my 50's, has taken it back.

Thank you for such an important message, Fr. Mike, Team Pew Crew and Team Ascension. We all live on God's grace and all the things we have are borrowed from Him. Time, health, people, jobs, business, etc. Let's be grateful for what we have to and for our best to glorify God. Nice movie reference by Fr. Mike- Sight (2023). Memories of the past gifts and people help us to realize the value of them. We also need to be grateful for what we have, grateful for the time we had something/someone, and not bitter about what we lost.

When i was 12 years old, i got the gift of a guitar. I started learning to play it and i gradually became immersed in it. I studied classical guitar and i became passionate about the music. However, i struggled unbearably sometimes and i couldn’t figure out why. This went on for 30 years. I would get an occasional beautiful compliment that would egg me on. What was going on? One day, in my 40’s, i felt my talent ebbing, and i lost interest in it. I quit a week later. I never understood what it was all about, but i felt relieved to be free of it. In light of Father Mike’s sermon, i need to pray about and maybe be thankful for those years of guitar playing. Thank you, Father Mike, for this insight.

Stewardship. Every time I think about Stewardship, I think about Cardinal Robert Carlson, who captivated the Sioux Falls Diocese with the word. He said giving the gifts of time, talent and treasure to the Church, the community that we live in, and to our families is the path that every Christian should walk. Why? Because everything we have is, like Father Mike says, given to us or on loan to us. That makes me thankful that God lent me my children, my parents, my siblings, my ex-husband, my friends, mentors, and all the priests and nuns that I have gotten to know. I am also so grateful that God gave me work as an educator and a bus driver. Thank you, God, for the person You 🙏 made me to be. Help me live my life so that You will see me and want me with You in Heaven at the end of my time here on earth. Thank you for Social Media that provides people with Mass, education, and good things to increase wholesome values in the soul. I see how this gift makes the world so much smaller. In Jesus' name, Amen. ❤

Amos didn't say he was a dresser of the sycamore trees. He said he was a tender of "get up", 'stand up", stand up for your "rise"....which actually translates to the "skm sea"; the Shechem Sea (a Canaanite city). And, he wasn't just sheepbreeder, no, he was a "herdsman of Nabu and Anu (Ki)". Guest who Nabu and Anu were. That's right, deities. So, in short, he was a tender of deities not associated with Christ's Father in any sort of way; no how and/or not in the least. And, as a side note relevant to the scriptures read, a staff is not supposed to be carried by the ppl Christ sends/sent out. The staffs of the OT were magic. These wands/rods/scepter were called Heka (also a deity unto its self) in the Hebrew. Christ's disciples were explicitly told NOT to carry in all three passages of the Bible that mention it. Even though one passage is erroneously translated as saying they are allowed to carry one (this just simply is not an accurate translation. To say it is, is like getting a "no" from one source, getting a second "no" from another source, and then running with a "yes" that wasn't actually ever a "yes" from anyone ever but was worded in such a way that a kid could get away with an "innocent misunderstanding" from a third source, smh. It's just ridiculous). Anyways, El is not our god. And, good homily. It had me kind of emotional at a point or two. The Famous Amos bit was pretty funny, too. I laughed. Once again, remember, El is a bull deity and not our Pappa. Have a great day.
