If you hate Alfas that much, why do you watch theese videos? The MiTo is perhaps not the prettiest car Alfa has ever made, but it is at least much more interesting to look at than anything that VW or Toyota makes. Please have respect for people who buys the car they really yearn for instead of buying a car to blend in.

Since the very first moment when I was sitting in the Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 of my father, I knew and understood that no other car than Alfa could exist for me. After, during the life and for job I was driving the so called better German and French cars, but no one of them could give me the same emotions and sensations than an Alfa. I understand, if you have not the feeling, the respect, the passion, the heart, please, avoid to drive an Alfa. But, let the other free to drive a legend .

Alfas doesn't run? Have you ever tried the 8c? However I personally own a Mito multiair 1.4 135hp, bought to replace an audi A3 2.0 TDI. The audi was a beautifull car, and i wasn't so sure to sell it to buy an Alfa Romeo. Well, after 5 minutes on the Mito i completely forgot the audi! forza alfa romeo e viva la passione italiana per i motori!

If you wanted to replace an A3, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta would have been a more effective choice.

Have one for one year now, great fun, no breakdowns, change the oil every 5k miles and enjoy. Only problems are; Passenger air bad deactivates if you stall the car (can be reset in 10 seconds). Hill brake assist malfunctions once every 3 months or so but is fine once the car is restarted the next day. The seat sometimes acts strange when pulled forward and needs to have the lever pulled up again.

I'm not gonna address it as a hot hatch. You gotta have at least 30 bhp more to be one. It's just a sporty version which doesn't cost that much and lets you have fun without braking your spine, in all comfort. Can't compare it with a Clio Sport, that's almost a track day car. But please, leave alone that yellow... And inflate the tires before saying the steering is not good.

Driving with flat front tires and complaining about the handling of the car...
@DAGATHire9 жыл бұрын
Just an FYI The D N A switch doesn't effect the suspension as shes says here. And it doesn't effect the exhaust note as she says here In Dynamic mode, the steering sharpens up and the throttle response is better. THAT IS ALL THAT CHANGES! So Vicky is exactly 50% wrong about the car here and so, her opinion might just be 50% wrong also.
@alexanderhill-cp8be9 жыл бұрын
Her opinion can't be 50% wrong. You can not be right or wrong with an opinion, because thats what an opinion is, your own view. However she is 50% wrong with the facts.
@DAGATHire9 жыл бұрын
H2Online No mate, She is giving inaccurate information. She said the DNA switch alters the suspension. It does not. She said the DNA switch alters the Exhaust note... AGAIN it does not. So of the 4 things that she listed which change when the DNA switch is used, Steering -- YES Throttle -- YES Suspension -- NO Exhaust note -- NO SHe is exactly 50% wrong about this car. It's not a question of her opinion. it's a question of her being half wrong about the actual technical specifications. OK? Good-
@alexanderhill-cp8be9 жыл бұрын
+DAGATHire Thats exactly what I was trying to say. I said: "she is 50% wrong with the facts" Therefore I agree with what you said about her being wrong about the technical specifications, as they are FACTS about the car which she has got incorrect. I was merely bringing to light the other thing you stated "... and might be 50% wrong with her opinion". I am aware you are stating that she is basing her opinion on facts that are incorrect. But that doesn't make her opinion "50% wrong" as it is impossible for anyone to say an opionion is wrong as it's a personal point of view. Get it? Good Glad we can see eye to eye.
@DAGATHire9 жыл бұрын
H2Online You are making a leap with your own opinions there. the word "MIGHT" is rather important and you are ignoring it. Im right you are wrong. ANd this is a monumental waste of my time. Peace
@alexanderhill-cp8be9 жыл бұрын
+DAGATHire 'MIGHT' means you are suggesting there is a chance/ possibility her opinion is wrong. Unless you are extremely ignorant (I am not suggesting you are) you would know there is no possibility an opinion can be wrong, therefore the word 'MIGHT' doesn't make the slightest bit of difference to the statement.

@soundseeker63 On the reliability you're partly right, certainly it's not the first thing that pops into mind thinking of an Alfa.. BTW Alfas are much more reliable today... And Toyotas... Well bit less. So gap is smaller. The second part of what you said is very wrong. Until mid-eighties when Alfa went bankrupt and got in the hands of FIAT Alfa Romeos were CONSISTENTLY much better than BMWs. To match the 150 bhp 75 2.0 TS a 325i wasn't enough
