Since the Top Gear race to Verbier I have respected the 612 more than any other car what a machine ! it may not be the most stunning Ferrari in terms of looks in some peoples eyes. but I am a huge fan. :)

The price of the early ones is reaching the stage where they will stop depreciating. Buy a used one now for 60k and watch it sky rocket over the next 10-15 years.

why was he heel toe rev matching (2:10)? its a paddle shift car, wouldnt that funk with the brakes or transmission? he must have excellent timing to fit a rev match in the milliseconds between switching cogs

I would say that assumption may be incorrect as the 599's and f12 are all based upon this scaglietti design

+Alex G No wonder those 3 look very similar. I really like the Scaglietti, it's fast and luxurious and looks best when it isn't painted red.

alec zavala Totally agree, i feel the scaglietti seems to be the most "pure" design, the 599 and f12 are already quite a bit "compromised" in design because of all the aerodynamics research gone into their shape, although one could argue they are the more "perfected" designs through the years.

petrolhead 95 this is so much better than ff . more classically styled than ff . quieter and more refined than ff and much more subtle which is what you want for a long distance gt car. its a fast as you could possibily want to . and i think in time will appreciate more than the ff . the ff will need all kinds of repair work on the 4 wheel drive system goes wrong . which it will at extreme cost. i would have the 612 or 456 . the ff and new gtc4 are ugly looking cars

Ferrari's have gotten so ugly in the past 15 yrs. This car looks like a 1986 Mercury Cougar, the 550, 575 and 599 look like 1970 Shelby Mustangs
