It's more unique and interesting than most supercars (e.g. the McClaren) -with in some cases arguably as thrilling real World performance. But agreed, it's in a category of it's own that you either favour or don't.

Yes but the New Honda Civic & the 10th Gen Hatch is a better competitor imo Lower, Wider & Stiffer as well with very responsive steering and handling torque vectoring system (and independant suspension) the mk10 civic is just a better car in every way & also feels nice & spacious inside

Steve Sutcliffe went faster around this track in a 570S than he did a 992 turbo s so I think the fifth gear track comparison was a little off. No way the 992 Carrera 4s should get so close to it.

The Porsche is a different sort of car from the McClaren and other mid engined supercars; No matter how much faster or more thrilling the McClaren may be-it's sort of irrelevant. If you like the unique package and style of the Porsche -and the Porsche is still fast and thrilling enough - it's already won. Personally I think the McClaren lacks showroom appeal -no matter how technically brilliant it may be. There's no real USP other than possibly the best lap time numbers -but it's a conventional mid engine supercar that isnt beautiful / striking / interestingly packaged / good value enough to temp away from the more charismatic and appealing competition from Porsche and Ferrari..
