I too have suffered with depression over the years. Even though I've had some serious health issues in the last number of years. I began reviewing all I have to be grateful for each time I began to feel down. Now, I live in gratitude and it has changed my life. Everyone has SOMETHING to be grateful for. ex: if you can read this, you have your eyesight to be grateful for. And so forth. Gratitude is so healing for all manner of issues. It can be difficult at times to actually WANT to pull yourself out of depression, because it can become a very familiar feeling, strangely enough. But as with anything, with some "pushing" on yourself, you can begin to flip to having Gratitude feel familiar instead. Best regards to all.

I love my coffee too (decaf - keeps me from getting hungry). I used Crest 3D White Strips - Noticeably White once - cost less and didn't hurt my gums. My 20-yr-old son turned me on to Colgate with charcoal. My teeth are whiter than ever. I also use Fenti Lip Bomb in Sweet Mouth which makes me teeth look even whiter. I practice gratitude as well, and I say, "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." 🥰

Beth, you are a wonderful mentor. My husband was the most positive, forward looking person. He was in sales also and knew how important positivity is. He always told me that our sub conscience does not know the difference between reality and what we tell ourselves. Meaning that, even if things are really bad, you need to tell yourself how successful, accomplished, capable, you are. Our mind believes what we feed it and our mental diet is as important as our physical diet. Thanks for a great video! BTW, you looked gorgeous for your date night!

I never trusted the younger people (when I was in my 40s and concerned) to tell me what would work to keep looking younger as I aged. So my efforts were short-lived and with a son who had chronic health issues for most of his life, I just didn't do anything special. If I could go back, I WOULD DO EXACTLY WHAT YOU'RE SAYING and search out the older women! The tried-and-true ladies! I see that the Fairywill Teeth Whitening System is at Walmart (I live in a town of 20,000, so my shopping choices are quite limited) and will get them! Or from Amazon. I trust your reviews. And if it works for me, I'll get it for my husband. It will be a trick to keep that in my mouth for an hour! 😅The cost of beauty (by the way, you are amazingly beautiful!) Oh my gosh - case in point that whole health is so important with your teeth relating to your arthritis! So glad you got that fixed.

Cute top. I love thredup. There's been a lot of talk on KZbin about skinny jeans. We women in our Second Half agree that they are not out of style for us. We don't want young people to decide what we can wear. We can decide for ourselves. They aren't wearing skinny jeans anymore, but we are. I use the little tooth flossers that work like your big one. My teeth collect so much food in them that I floss every time I've eaten. KZbin does not send email notifications anymore. They stopped a long time ago. You are a very inspiring person. Beth, wonderful video full of great info. I've had a rough couple of weeks, got very sick and ended up in the hospital for a couple of days. Once, home the antibiotics they prescribed started making me sick, threw everything up one night. So this meant I wasn't taking everything as prescribed because I was trying to go easy on my stomach. Then 2 days ago I got devastating news that a dear cousin of mine had suddenly passed away at home with his wife, her sister, and the 2 adult children there. It was like here one minute, gone the next. He had turned 67 in June. So as you were talking about your hesitancy to go run an errand with your husband I was thinking, if your husband loves you enough to want you with him for the mundane chores in life, please don't waste the opportunity to be together! We just don't know when our time will be up or that of our loved ones. I'm so glad you pulled yourself into a higher vibration and went with him. Each day is a gift. It's so cliche but true. By the way, dragged myself to the dr. this morning and he completely changed my antibiotics and said I should start to feel better within 48 hours. Looking forward to that higher vibe in my body and mind. Blessings beautiful one, with love from Texas.

Thank you also for your great reminder about my wonderful husband. If he cares enough about me to want me to run to the store with him, that is a pretty neat thing and I should kick myself in the butt and do it! LOL! You were really so right about that. Every day really is a gift and I really appreciate your wonderful reminder. Blessings to your family in the loss of your dear cousin.

Hi again. I use SuperSmile toothpaste. I have sensitive gums and it, nor the Colgate one you talked about, bother my gums. But I’ve tried Tracy’s method off and on. One thing to mention to viewers so they won’t feel badly about their results is that if you have naturally gray teeth as my dentist and hygienist say that I have, they’ll never be super white. They won’t even be white. My husband’s teeth are like Tracy’s and he puts a lot less work into them than I do. The Dentist thought they were veneers when we first went to him. Great video and the baking soda and peroxide do help a lot. We all suffer from depression now and then...especially through COVID. Thx for the positive tips.

Beth, Coffee is actually good for us. I drink for the flavor. Love the first cup from a freshly brewed pot of coffee. If you like coffee like I do? You can drink it through a straw to avoid the stains. I used a coffee weening technique that takes three weeks to reduce caffeinated coffee. I did it for breast cancer surgeries. I did not want the awful caffeine headache when I awoke from anesthesia. I started with 1/3 decaf and 2/3 caffeinated for the first week. Then half and half the second week and 1/3 caffeinated to 2/3 decaf the third week. By the fourth week I was drinking full decaf without a headache. I just saw a video today on the benefits of coffee. Just wanted to share this. Regina S.

Live a little, Beth. Eat that candy bar when you want one. We are at the age (I am 67) when things start to happen. Friends get sick; friends die; chronic diseases happen. You don’t want to wake up one day unable to eat that candy bar. Spend more time having fun and a bit less on your appearance. You’re a beautiful woman. There comes a point when we will begin to look our age no matter how hard we work. For me it’s been the past 3 years. I decided I need to cut myself a break or two and enjoy things I had been denying myself. And start caring less about not wanting to look my age. I still do Botox and fillers. I love makeup. But I am making peace with being out of high school for 50 years, and looking forward to seeing all the other older looking ladies who were my classmates at our reunion in October. I am alive and in reasonably good health. I can’t say that about a number of my contemporaries.

Hey Beth - I bought the Fairywell system when you first recommended it so at least I have the light - probably just use it with Crest Whitestrips - thanks for another great video ! I don’t do a lot of meditating but I do a lot of praying - lol!

Beth, I just saw my dentist last week. She suggested I invest in the sonicare waterpik system and also start brushing with the hydrogen peroxide baking soda formula. She suggested this after I asked if they were offering any teeth whitening specials for Christmas.

You can whiten your teeth using the pulp from the inside skin of a banana. Not an overly ripe one but just ripened or not quite ripe. Scrape it with a spoon, chew it up a bit to make it more of a paste then brush your teeth with it. It really works well. If you do it right you’ll see a difference the first time. The other way to whiten is to mix baking soda and coconut oil into a paste and brush your teeth with it. It’ll get rid of plaque and whiten teeth quickly. The third way is to do oil pulling with coconut oil, olive oil or sesame seed oil. There are tutorials on KZbin.

That’s interesting Bailey! I will try that!

Beth have you heard of oil pulling? It's an ancient remedy to help whiten your teeth and improve your gum health. It involves swishing coconut oil around in your mouth for about 15 minutes. I love it. Also I noticed that Oral B has come out with charcoal mint floss. Enjoyed your video!
@FiftyPlusBeauty3 жыл бұрын
Hi Diane. Thanks for sharing about the charcoal mint floss. That sounds interesting and I will get some. Are used to do oil pulling but I couldn’t stick with it. Maybe I need to try again! I’m glad it’s working for you.

Thanks for sharing. Beth love your nails! Do you have a video?
@FiftyPlusBeauty3 жыл бұрын
Hi Nellie. No, I don’t have a video because I get them done in the salon. They are acrylic nail tips that are white on the ends. I still get the good old fashion 1990s acrylic. I tried the gel’s for a while but my nails just kept breaking. The acrylic is much stronger for me and I can get my nails as long as I want them.
