Remodeling is hard on the families that stay home. You’re doing just fine. Getting negative at times just means it’s overwhelming. We’re human so give yourself some grace. Can’t wait to see it all!!!!

Beautiful... Who else is thinking how much does it cost to have a professional painter come in and do all that... I don't know about that area of the country but I would guess in my area 30,000 at least. But it is a lot of work and to have it done perfectly oh yeah.

It was not quite that much here in Kansas as our housing prices and fix up prices are more reasonable than some other parts of the country. It is not an expensive but we bought the house at a very good price so we had the funds to make improvements.

Hi Beth, I love all the white trim. It really brightens your home and takes it out of the 1980’s. Just think, you will be upstairs and loving it by Christmas 😍

Yes! The tile people are here and they will be finished in about a week and a half. Then we just have the carpet in the bedrooms, the faucets and lights to be installed in the final coat on the wood floor. We should be moved in by the first week in November! Yay!

It has been crazy and a lot more difficult than I thought but in the end, I think it will be well worth it. It’s kind of like having a baby. We will probably forget the pain once the house is born.

I can definitely see why you say this is your dream house! The view you have shown us is the icing on the cake so to speak to the gorgeous exterior and interior. Isn't that funny 😊 In regard to your vanity, if I was working there and another worker told me to paint it navy blue, I would have painted it off white, thinking they must be mistaken. I'm sure it will look great, but I am curious what made you choose navy blue when everything else isn't? I love the photos in the office and would add some faux plants or accent pieces, but I'm excited to hear what makes you happy to put there. I'm super excited for you, and yes, I would love to see things brought up from the downstairs. Love the 'S' back on the (this) house🏡 ❤ 🙏 🐦

You were so right about adding the faux plants and greenery. That will make a big difference. I’m sure. The blue vanity is probably just because I keep seeing bathrooms with blue vanities online. I just wanted to try something different. I also plan to have Gold hardware in there which is different for me too.

Yes, Javier is wonderful! I am using Sherwin-Williams alabaster on the trim. It’s a latex paint and I used it in satin, but if I had to do it over, I would use semi gloss.

Beth, you were so right about raising the molding in the powder room. The fact that you pay close attention to little details, is something we have in common. Hi Judy. The kitchen wall cover is actually Sherwin-Williams accessible beige. It did look kind of green though, but it doesn’t in real life. It’s one of their most popular colors.

I used a grayish beige on most all the walls. It is Sherwin-Williams accessible beige. The trim is Sherwin-Williams alabaster. The gray and the powder bath is called Sherwin-Williams dovetail.

….I had a stroke following a few years of eating carnivore - so obviously it had NOTHING to do the 50+ years of my lifestyle choices preceding the stroke. 😉My mother was a committed vegan and exercised a lot. She was strong and fit. She died from a sudden widow maker heart attack with no prior warning of heart disease. Your thumb nail is naughty bc it’s misleading.

i could not stand how all that meat would sit on your tummy made me feel sick every night did not even make it past 2 weeks , but i still follow a low carb way just have the green vegies no spuds no rice no bread ( one wrap in the morning 20 g )diabetic diet ,, got to have my vegies .sort of like a mild keto ive been reading ,, the plant paradox stephens grundys , some plants like tomato's are full of lectins that cause inflammation,
